OK, the weather has been weird here. Quite warm for December, but chilly and a little wet in the Georgia Desert today. Ice and snow seem to be plague the midwest and northeast, flooding in the northwest .

SO HOW Y'ALL DOING?

Had to tie my hair onto my head today. High winds and temps steadily dropping --- 36 right now and going down.

Had rain/thunder/lightning last night. Lost the electricity at 3AM --- back on at 5:30AM. It wasn't too severe here --- the worst of it was to the E/SE.

According to the radar, there is rain in Georgia --- lots of it.

That's mostly in South Georgis, altho it is misting as I type. i'm ticked off that Alabama is in a level 2 drought but still wants water from our reservoirs when we in North GA are in a level 4 drought.

Concur with TRL, it was WINDY here!!!!

Supposed to hit 24 tonight at our end of the state.

We gearing up for a major storm. Already have quite a few inches on the ground, tomorrow it's supposed to come down about 2 in. an hr or more and we're predicted to get up to 2 ft. here up by Lake Ontario. Ugggh. People were out loading up on groceries and beer. Of course, all I got was a loaf of bread. My hubby will probably go out early and get his usual stuff for the week. It's supposed to get worse by the afternoon with high winds. Brrrrrrrrr...... lot's of people are planning on staying in and watching football. Pizza guys say they'll be delivering unless it gets so bad they'll call their drivers back in. Typical western upstate NY in the winter. I hate it!!!!!

We got a foot of snow on thursday, commute home was ok for me , but for a lot of others here in Ma. it was a nightmare. I heard in Boston area it took upwards of 4-5 hours for people to get home from work. Seems everyone decided to leave early, plows couldn't get to the major highways do to all the traffic....what a mess. Snowblower crapped out, so this storm today will mean a group effort of shoveling by all the family. Supposed to get 6-10 inches of snow with sleet and ice on top of it. Nice!!! I love NE, but give me just snow enough with the ice already!

We still had upper 80s yesterday with no sign of winter. However, today we get thunderstorms, wind, and extra humid 80s that's due to an actual COLD FRONT!!! Which should give us low temps in the 50s the next two nights and highs around 70 the next two days! Woo-Hoo! Winter is Here (for two days at least)! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

29 this morning when i left for church. Water in the driveway was frozen.

Friggin' cold right now. 40° with 45 mph wind gusts.:(

It's supposed to be down to 18° tonight and 41° tomorrow.

If any of you happened to see any highlights from the Cleveland Browns game today that is about 30 minutes from me so you have an idea of what I'm looking at here. A whole lot of snow and it is cold and windy. The wind is gusting up to 45 MPH. Icy and snowing sideways.

It's 53 with a wind chill of 50 here at 6:15am :D News pics are of everyone bundled up with coats and gloves (I'm not laughing at them, I have on a pullover sweater and jacket)...how you folks up north must laugh at us!

A brisk 22 on the front porch this AM.

Heavy frost on the pasture. Bright blue sky. Dogs down at the fence playing with the horse. Beautiful sunshine.

Sure hope it warms up fast.

Wow, we got all of a half inch of rain Saturday. First since early October. maybe I can take a shower now. :)

I saw a few shots of it. It was too cold to actually watch it. LOL The Bills ended up taking buses back instead of flying because of all the cancellations. I remember being outside that stadium during a conference a long time ago.

It's about 20-25F here, depending on where you're at. Still getting some snow, but the wind has died down and it's only some flakes. Never did get the 2 ft. Some pressure system or something changed so we only got about a ft. I hate when they give the numbers for Rochester on TV since that's measured at the airport and it's often not a thing like what's around most of us. Lots of schools closed today. I had to laugh though. We're in one of the higher snowfall areas and our schools were open along with a couple districts on either side of us. I don't think they want to dip into snow days yet. If the districts up by the lake are closed, you know it's really bad. :)

28 on the way to work this morning. Man are heated seats the bomb or what?

It's VERY cold down here. It was in the 40s last night and 50s during the day today. Tonight it's supposed to get down to the upper 30s.
bbbrrrrrrrrr!

I don't. It tops 100 degrees in the Summertime here for two months straight. I lived in Florida for 13 years. Believe me, it's hotter up here.
