The Australian Formula 1 driver Mark Webber has signed a contract with Porsche that extends over several years. From the 2014 season he will compete in Porsche’s new LMP1 sports prototype at the Le Mans 24 Hours and in the sports car World Endurance Championship WEC. The news comes just days after the announcement that Rebellion Racing's Neel Jani would also be joining Porsche for 2014.

Wow! Sad to see him leave Formula One. Hope Kimi doesn't go to Red Bull and get mistreated like Webber was.

That damn Porsche is fast, I bet they win a bunch..good for Webber. f1 is getting too mickey mouse for me to watch and this team driver crap with Webber continually getting the short end of the stick sucks.

I guess he wanted to make his very personal statement yesterday by showing the team what he can really do without team orders...he really earned that 2nd spot.

Just as Alonso; they both drove very well those last laps.
