Some surprises this week so far. Still not quite done with the first games, but the Jets beating the Pats! Not so much of a surprise, but NO beating the heck out of the Eagles. Cincy is beating the Pack. So many of the "experts" have picked both the Eagles and Pats to be in the Super Bowl.

WOO HOOOO BEARSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!

YEEE HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

DA BEARS!!

The Browns looked horrible as usual. I wasn't sure what to expect today. Denver needed a miracle to beat Cincinnati last week. Kyle Orton is a horrible excuse for an NFL quarteback. While all of that is true, the Browns offense was pathetic again. Brady Quinn didn't have a very good game, but he was constantly under pressure. The right side of the O-line was seriously overmatched.

When they went down 20-6 in the second half, I told my son "Oh, crap! We are now down 5 field goals, since we don't score touchdowns any more". He thought that was pretty funny, but pretty accurate too.

I can't believe Titans lost AGAIN.

I'm sure the Jags will find a way to lose to both teams.

It's time for Del Rio to go man. I'm sick of sucky offense, sucky defense, sucky players and sucky results. The only person on that team that pulls their weight is Maurice Jones Drew b/c MJD is a beast no matter where he is.

So, you are telling me the Browns won't go 0-16. That's good to hear. They looked like they might yesterday, though. I'm not counting any chickens at this point. They actually looked pretty good in the first half against Minnesota. However, since that time they have been pathetic.

That new stadium here in Dallas is rightly called Jerry World Biggest Circus in town.Romo showed he's a clown,Miller Lite Cage Dancers all around the stadium. They need to get 1 of those little cars for the head clowns to pull up in,Jerry Jones & Coach Cupcake.

Da bears.... well honcho , seems both teams were minus their big defensive guy... still ya have to say that was a slow game...

Tell me about it. I blame Collins as usual because he's as blind as a bat.

If it is this bad with him give Young a chance, how many do they have to lose? I mean why pay to stable him if your not going to give him a chance to earn his ride?

That was a great game to watch. Indy had the ball for less than 15 minutes the entire game and still managed to score 27 points and win the game. They said that is the lowest time of possession for any winning team in history. Of course, an 80 yd touchdown pass on the opening play helps that.

Miami's running game was awesome. Their "hurry up offense" at the end of the game was truly gruesome though. That is the worst clock management I've ever seen from a team not coached by Romeo Crennel.

Over all though, a fun game to watch.

They've seen what Vince Young brings to the table. It isn't nearly what Collins gave you last year. I understand the idea of wanting to develop VY. But if you do so at this point, I think you are sort of giving up on the season and sending the wrong message to your players.

I am not knocking Collins I still like him, but they haven't found their rhythm yet. So if this season don't pick up maybe they need to look forward. Just sayin'...

I understand that, I really do. It is just a tough position they are in. On one hand, Collins is a lot better than Young at this point. On the other hand, they have a lot of money, and a number one pick, invested in Vince Young. If Vince Young were as good as he thinks he is, the problem would be solved. The problem is, that he just isn't going to be a good NFL quarterback. He isn't accurate enough and he makes poor decisions. He had a decent rookie year, mostly due to his natural athletic running ability. NFL coaches quickly adjusted to what he does and stopped him from doing it. They forced him to beat them from the pocket, and he just can't do that. Taking him that high, was a big mistake. Do you admit you were wrong and move on? Or do you try to justify the bad pick and make it worse by costing your team victories in the name of developing him? Either way, it sucks to be them.

I think the panthers may need more than a Quarterback, what has Peppers done so far this year. The season is young and already the Panthers are in a bind.

Aside, when I was working in Charlotte my apartment was within walking distance of the Stadium and my office at work on Tryon had an excellent view of the stadium

Why just the last game he had 2 tackles. That's $500,000 per tackle. Not too shabby... :XXROFL:

What has he done so far? He's cash strapped this team so badly we dont have any decent backups..its killing us. Our DLine is in HUGE trouble, we cant pay anyone to bring in a decent DT to replace Kemo because we dont have room under the salary cap.
