Today, while in the Hospital waiting room, somehow the subject of weird names came up. One lady , who goes by her middle name, would not tell her given 1st name. She said that before she was born many, many years ago, even before refrigerators were common, her mother got the name off an ice delivery truck in Virginia.
Another young lady told of shopping at a Columbia,S.C. area Wal-Mart and noticed the unusual name on the cashier's name tag. She just stared and stared at it. When it came time for her to checkout, she could not help but to ask how the name was pronounced. The reply was
"SHA-THEAD". Now that may not seem so unusual , with some of the names in use today. What really caught this young lady's eye, however , was the spelling. There on the nametag, in bold letters was ****HEAD.
Could you just imagine going through life with a nametag like that?
