Thanks for the welcome. I have posted on very few other boards prior to this one. I like the format of having the option of talking about other topics besides racing. I was on the rickycravenfans.com board for 7 years (4th most posts in board history). It was initially alot of fun but some people wouldn't allow you to have an opinion that differed from theirs and it got to be quite tiresome. I opted to go out on my own terms. I had one guy bashing my kids. My kids of cousrse had no clue that that particular board exsisted because none of them care at all for racing. I have been searching since then for a new board that I might like to join in on. I figured I would give this one a try and see how it goes. My interests are hunting, fishing, watching the Yankees as much as possible, leisure sports you can drink a beer while doing (pool, bowling, Nascar, etc.). I'm retired from the Navy and I'm currently the head of Maintenance at an assisted living facility here in Bath, Maine. I'm a staunch Republican in this sea of blue up here in the Northeast. A Republican Yankee fan in New England should tell you right away I'm thick skinned and don't get offend. Cheers!

You live in Maine, that's why you were on the rickycravenfans.com board. I had a friend who was in the service up there and he said he couldn't get nascar news up there except they would say "today in nascar ricky craven finished 23rd".. That was it.

Another Maineac! I lived in SPortland and then West Falmouth as a kid, and my daughter was graduated from Unity!
