Well, the rain didn't go away

Just another race most of us won't get to see live...Nascar needs to figure out something better than this........this sucks!
 
yea, like make it a dusk race...run it in time for at least most people to see the last half..like green flag it around 4 or 5 PM ET or something...

I agree! Say what you want about restrictor plate racing, but it is exciting to watch! NASCAR needs to to devise some sort of system so these races can be run when people can watch at least part of them. I still don't get Atlanta being run in the middle of the day that Monday...that track has lights! Why not run it Monday night in prime time? :mad:
 
The problem is logistics for the teams. This puts them back a full day even when they race during the day. If they raced at the night time hours, it would be back even that much more.
 
I was watching race day live before the race, Good old weather man Larry Mac said it wasn't going to rain!!! LOL LARRY

Atleast they could do is have it on the regular RADIO!! How hard could that be at 12:00 !!?!? :rolleyes:
 
anyone have a link to a radio station carryin it, i know they are out there i listened to the Atlanta race on one

You can only catch radio on the net these days via NASCAR.com with TrackPass. The days of getting it for free are over so if you don't have a local station that carries the race, you're out of luck...of course unless you have TrackPass. I'm fortunate to have at least two different stations that carry MRN and three that carry PRN.
 
yea here PRN and MRN use the same station.

oh, and daytona doesnt cut it short..they ran at 2 am. (even if it was on a sunday morning)

That's not true. PRN and MRN are two different networks, one owned by NASCAR and one owned by Bruton Smith. They both have different contracts with radio stations and there are some radio stations that will cover races only with MRN and some only with PRN. I'm lucky enough that two of my area stations carry both, but I have one station that only carries PRN. It's funny because they want their listeners to listen to their station when a race covered by PRN is carried, but when we are used to using one of the other stations for all the races, it's almost a foregone conclusion that most people will tune in the station that carries all the races.
 
seems you have to find a radio station that streams live that is an MRN affiliate. FOUND ONE !!! but really didn't need it about 50 laps in my boss, (the company pres.) called me and invited me down to his office to watch it on tv !! life is good !
