Well went to my local dirt track for the opening round of the World Speedway Grand Prix.
These guys are pretty fearless and there was some great racing.
There were a few crashes and one aussie even hauled off to hospital. (he's OK)

Here is a vid I uploaded of the final last night when I got home.
After a beautiful warm day it sure cooled of last night......really glad I took my jacket.

Flat track/speedway is badass! Loved going to the Costa Mesa Fairgounds back in the day.

Wanna slow down? Better throw it sideways.

The dude who won it was Martin Smolinski from germany and with 2 laps to go he was still in last place, then on the 3rd lap he was up to 3rd....the last lap he lead at the start/finish!
