ATLANTA (AP) -- A man who was found taking a shower in a woman's Midtown Atlanta apartment has been convicted of burglary.
Tyron Jones, 39, faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced next month.
Although he denied being the man that a startled Rebecca Taylor discovered in her home Nov. 6, 2002, a Fulton County jury convicted him Thursday of felony burglary.
Taylor told police that Jones had helped himself to her Lean Cuisine pizza and was doing his laundry when she came home.
Taylor, 35, called 911 and tried to block her apartment door, but Jones hopped in his clothes and ran past her with items including Taylor's grandmother's diamond ring.
