So i wreck my truck, my dad had back pain from his job up in kansas city, our dog has a cancerous tumor of some variety or another, and last night, the compressor in our fridge burned up and took the wiring harness with it. One vet says the dog has a cancerous tumor on his bladder, but only ran urine tests. He spent overnight at Canyon Creek Pet Hospital in sherman and my parents go to get him at 3 while im at work. Last time we took him there for a suspected tumor, they ran $500 in tests to narrow down specifically what it was and then treated it. We're hoping the bill isn't quite as high, but it may be. They won't talk over the phnone and want us for a consoltation first.

well, results came back as prostate cancer, they gave him less than 2 weeks.

My co-worker's husband was in the ospital for dbl numonia, and my youth pastor's wife was bad sick. So i guess last week has been a trip for everybody.

Sad...Sorry to hear that man.:(

At least it wasn't cold saturday night..cuz we ran out of propane around 11 PM..went all sunday with just a little electric heater pointed at the ceiling fan. Then we noticed the ice cream had gone milk shaky last night but figured the door had been left open or something, didnt notice till this morning that the copresser wasnt running.

The dog either got attacked or got into a fight overnight. Went out at 5 am on a potty run (since he cant hold it) and my dad found him in the neighbor's yard across the street with a cut up ear and a sprained left front ankle, had to carry him back. We got a backhoe coming over tonight to dig the hole and we're building the casket tonight as well from german plywood. I'm doing what I can to get tomorrow off of work (small family run business, not easy) so we can go ahead and put him down. But logistics doesnt help because the sears guy is also coming tomorrow to put a new compressor and wiring in the fridge. What a mess.

Hmmmm, you need a casket...you have a dead refrigerator...you will soon have a dead dog (my condolences by the way)...and you got a backhoe that can dig whatever size hole you need...vs using up some nice plywood...

all the local vets close at noon around here because of church night.

We're having to use a shop creeper to transport him, he stood up outside on his own but thats about it. Just a few weeks ago he was nice and happy.

Spent $4000 on my dog's knee two months ago, consider yerself lucky.

I know people get attached to their dogs and I do make sure mine get Vet care but I do draw a line on how much money I'd spend. Not saying you're wrong for that but $4K would make a small dent in my wallet...
