What a finish! ! !

Two awesome finishes in a row at Chicagoland!!! I was happy since I've been pulling for Sam the past three years.

NASCAR sure could take some lessons from the IRL though. The safety crew was out to Kenny Brack's car before he even stopped rolling. And the crew was out there blocking the track where the debris was before the drivers came around on the first caution lap.

I felt bad for Greg Ray...they said over the scanner that he was sitting on pit wall watching the race. He was really nice to my daughter and me a few years back when we met him. Of course, most all of the IRL drivers seem really nice. Tony Kanaan & Bryan Herta talked to my daughter and me about the Busch race the night before & our favorite Winston Cup drivers for a cpl of minutes on Saturday when we were getting their autographs.

That was a great race form start to finish! I can't wait for the last 2 races at Fontana and Texas!

:) Another great IRL finish. I was hoping Herta would win, but at least Dixon didn't win. With 2 races left, there are 5 drivers who have a shot at winning the championship. How much more exciting can it get than that! Go Tony!
