I had just a great birthday yesterday.
It started with my worker's comp doctor finally giving me a C-84 so I can get paid while I am off work. I have been unable to work with my herniated disc for several weeks now but he has refused to acknowledge this fact since he has a great relationship with the company I worked for at the time of injury. They send him a lot of business, so he kind of tries not to tick them off. Anyway, he finally relented yesterday and sent in the form so hopefully I can start getting paid pretty soon. (I know this probably sound more like 'better late then never', but I am choosing to view it positively).
I grilled burgers for me and the kids for lunch. The wife made me my favorite dinner and my favorite cake (pineapple upside down cake ).
And me wife gave me a jersey I have wanted for a long time. She bought it before money got quite as tight as it is now and when she had found it on sale. Here's a picture of it. It is a #33 James Laurinaitis, Ohio State Buckeyes jersey.
