WHAT A RACE, CONGRATS JIMMIE!

Congrats Jimmie and crew...

Also good call on behalf of Dale Jrs team to stay out.. Got him going back up there in the points!!!

yep WTG jimmie johnson...the man

BTW what happened to kasey??? and denny? wierd how they wreck in different places than biffle and robby...

Kahne will have a headache for awhile...he absolutely knocked that wall down!

good job for the 8 and 48 teams

Robby's car pushed up the track, just racing hard on the last lap.

I don't know, They did not show a good reply, don't make seice for the 9 just to turn stright in to the wall, might of been contact with the 20, but i dont know.

HAve you noticed that Jr. talks junk about his team just about every race now. The call by Eury Jr. was good but like Jr. said they need to have better than a 30th place car. He has not been happy with his cars or team for awhile

No Jr doesnt seem happy at all...you would think with as much money as DEI has and workin for his family business and all ..that Jr would have a GREAT car.. whats up with that??

Well his contract runs thru 07, right? So he could look around if he's not happy...

It was rumored last year that RCR would make a spot for him. Don't know how true that was, probably wishful thinking by some people.

But it was a brilliant call, no doubt about that.

Without a doubt the call of the race, they reviewed last years' race and decided it was the thing to do. Don't count Jr. out of a championship yet, i have a feeling his team will peak at the right time.

Good, clean racing up front in those last few laps.

Who made the call for the #8 to stay out? I have a feeling that if the driver wants to stay - he stays.

Earnhardt, IMO, needs to get the heck away from the Eurys. If that means leaving DEI, then so be it.

If he was to go to RCR, it'd be a perfect time as it looks like they're fielding cars that are in contention almost every week. I suspect he'd only drive a GM car so I'd say his options are Hendrick or RCR.

I wonder if Waltrip could talk him into a Toyota :)

I doubt he would drive toyota. I'm not a fan of Jr. (big fan of bud) but I would even **** my pants if he did that and I think I would cry if I saw budwieser splattered on a Toyota.

I think he will be a Champion in the next 3 years if not sooner. To leave a business your dad built from the ground up would be a very hard thing to do. Could happen though i suppose if the conditions were right. The only place he would go would be Childress, to drive the 3 again, only would seem right anyway.

Childress Wanted to retire the 3 anyway. And if Jr did go to the 3 then stewert couldnt compare himself to it anymore.

To bad for JB, broken spring..

getting back on topic.. Great race Jimmie!! You raced hard, and deserved the win!
