What is your favorite quote from a movie.

If you have more than one, please post only one per day.

Ready?!

From movie Sideways when Miles said:

"I'm not even a thumbprint on the window of a skyscraper."

"What was I supposed to do, call him for cheating better than me in front of the others?!?"

Robert Shaw as Doyle Lonnegan, The Sting

"It's a hell of a thing; killin' a man. You take away everything he ever had and ever would have"
- William Munny

Movie : The Unforgiven
Clint Eastwood

"yes they deserved to die and I hope they burn in hell"
- Carl Lee Hailey

A time to Kill
Samual Jackson

I used AI for this post to keep it simple and concise

In the movie "What About Bob?", Bob Wiley uses the quote "There are two types of people in this world: those who like Neil Diamond, and those who don't" to explain his divorce. He's explaining to Dr. Leo Marvin that his ex-wife loves Neil Diamond and that this was a reason for their separation.

Actor: Bill Murray

Training Day, one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time, has some good ones. This one is too long to post and is a bit of a spoiler, but the King Kong promo that Alonzo Harris (Denzel Washington's character, a super corrupt cop) cuts on the neighborhood towards the end of the movie is just brilliant stuff. Alonzo is a great heel.

“If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.”[i/]

Liam Neeson
Taken

My apologies @Whizzer ; I should have read the entire original post before posting anything. I just read the thread title, thought it was a great idea, and started posting. I am only now discovering my mistake.

I appreciate the request to only post one of the quotes per day, and that is what I will do going forward.

I'm trying to avoid the obvious and go for some that don't come to mind as quickly.

"When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk"

Eli Wallach as Tuco the Ugly
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Shawshank Redemption:

"Red," played by Morgan Freeman:

“I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don’t want to know. Some things are better left unsaid. I’d like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can’t be expressed in words, and it makes your heart ache because of it.”

"Make your own future. Make your own past. It's all ... right ... now." - Barry Allen (played by Ezra Miller); Zack Snyder's Justice League

Shawshank Redemption:

One of my favorite movies of all time.

"Momma told me, life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get".
"Stupid is as stupid does".
Forrest Gump (1994).

"Dyin' ain't much of a living, boy"
