What are your plans for the Super Bowl?

It seems the Super Bowl used to be a much bigger deal to me years ago. It has really lost something lately and I'm not really sure why. What are you guys' plans? Any good Super Bowl parties?
 
I'll be working. :( But everyone will be asleep so I'll be able to watch it. :)

That's cool. It sucks you gotta work, but at least you can watch it and get paid! I've watched several Super Bowls at home by myself and it just doesn't seem the same. Of course you can actually follow the game much better, but it still lacks something.
 
Bah...super bowl parties are overrated anyway. :eek:

I think it's best to watch it with one other person, even if they don't understand the game....just someone to say stuff at while you watch. Too many people just end up getting drunk and no one ends up watching the game.
 
How true,I always watch it with my dad.if he gets drunk I will have to call Ripley's. One beer,and he is a happy camper.:)
 
I'm not a big F-ball fan but I'll watch it. Have a couple cold ones and some snacks. Used to do the party thing but not worth the risks anymore.

I'm with you on this one chief. I just wish my wife would at least act like she had any interest in the game.
 
I am not a f-ball fan either, but i might watch some of it, towards the end and halftime.
 
ahhhhhh, halftime? Thats the time ya turn it. Those halftime shows are pitiful. Kinda remind me of the acts during the NASCAR awards cerimony.
 
I have to work. I get to deliver pizzas on superbowl sunday.
 
This year, I'll probably just hang out with the better half and watch the game. Usually, I go to parties with friends, but othing much going on this year. Either way, it will be a good time. Hopefully see some good football and a few funny commercials.
 
I general have a superbowl party, but this year I had a fiesta bowl party (way to go OSU!) So a friend is having the superbowl one. We are using her new turkey fryer, we'll see how it turns out. I am not a big pro bowl fan mainly college, but usually I like one of the teams in the superbowl, this year I don't. So I am not too interested in it.

You'll make a killing. I did the delivery thang in college. Super Bowl Sunday was a big tip day. If you can get the game on the radio, or have some other way of keeping up with it, drive around the block if you need to, but hit the door during a commercial. People just toss money your way and run back to the TV. I made $15 on one stop that way. :thumbsup:

As to my own plans, I plan to kick back with a few Rolling Rocks and watch the Bucs stomp the snot out of the Raiders. That's the plan. We'll see.
 
the radio did a thing where you pick the winning team and the total # of points scored. I picked TB with a game total (boath teams) 45 points (i think thats what i picked)...lol
 
i will probably watch it but I will only watch the commercials and the national anthem and halftime.

Ill watch it because My house will be on it because my local abc station has new cameras on their helichoppers and are going to be filming the fire department and have a commerical of them going out and all the mess and they got my house in the shots about 5 times so woooo hoooo lol too bad I wont home when they did it or Iwould of had a sign that read "Hey Ya'll I'm On T.V" lol
 
Having friends over to watch it. We're doing our Nascar Fantasy draft before-hand, so it's a 2-for-1.

Ahh if pittsburgh was in it I would be having a killer party but oh well maybe next year
