#25-Brian Vickers
#22-Scott Wimmer

Thoughts?

Predictions?

Its a very impressive class of rookies, though.

It should be interesting to say the least. I think whoever handles the late season stretch the best will be the ROTY.

As much as I'd love to see Gaughan in the Cup, I think he get some more experience. If he gets more seat time, I think he could come in an dominate in his rookie year regardless of the rest of the rookie class.

Could see maybe 1 or 2 of them make the top 10 in points.

I'm thinking it's going to be pretty similar to this season. (2003) I also think one or two of them will find their way back into the Busch series by the end of next season.

That is a good class of rookies. I hope that Brendon does get the 77 ride, even if I am not a big fan of the 2 or 12!! If Jb does not run full time then I guess Brendon will become my 3rd guy to pull for. JB will always be #2 in my books behind Kyle!

Brendon as the 2004 ROTY would be a perfect Kodak moment. :D ( i know bad joke)

I'm going with Johnny. If not him, then Kasey Kahne.

Wimmer impressed me more in his handful of starts than Vickers did. I'm anxious to see what Kahne can do. Sauter is a waste IMO and won't be a factor. Plus that 30 car seems to have magnets in the side panels that draw it into a wall about every week. Riggs' pony can't keep up consistently.

....ya never know.

I'm going to pull for the underdog here, Scott Riggs. He has talent and maybe some potential left in him despite the fact that he's over 30. If he can be consistent, keep putting in good finishes, then that rookie of the year will be his. However, I'm not going to predict anything over 1 or 2 wins.

#77-Brendan Gaughan (bad team)
#9-Kasey Kahne (only driver I see having good things happen to)
#10-Scott Riggs (bad team)
#30-Johnny Sauter (overrated driver)
#25-Brian Vickers (needs another year in Busch)
#22-Scott Wimmer (bad team)

Kasey Kahne is the only driver who I could see making a splash next year. Vickers might be alright but I think Hendrick pulled the trigger a little to early in setting him into a cup car.

Kasey Kahne will easily be the rookie of the year! He is used to all that horsepower from driving Outlaws cars and he is with Evernham >> that team has really come on strong in the last half of 03! No reason for Kasey not to take it >> Brenden should be tuff in a Penske car too!
