I definately thought this race was better than the last one here, from the standpoint of a fan. The coverage left a lot to be desired...what happened to Johnson? I saw him in the top ten, fading, but still running well. Next time I saw him, he was two laps down. Maybe I missed what they said about him. Don't know if the tires were a problem at this track, I did hear from Kahne's crew that he blistered the right front after the first 80 laps, but after that, didn't have any more problems.

The new layout with the progressive banking in the turns seems to be coming in well and the drivers are now using it okay. Kind of miss the old style when a driver almost had to bump the guy in front to pass, but I think those days are gone forever. :(

Why is it that the guy who leads the most laps, can't seem to win the race. Even if Tony hadn't been spun, he was clearly not going to win at the end, and Hamlin, go figure. And Kyle...reminded me of a guy in the past who spun while leading. Won't even go there. :)

All in all, I was pretty entertained with this race and while it wasn't as exciting as the races at Bristol have been in the past, it was pretty good.

I enjoyed it. The coverage didn't bother me. I was there. There was racing somewhere on the track all the time. Maybe not at the front but there was racing.

i believe he meant that he screwed up tony stewarts car :idunno: I am enjoying this season seeing different winners every week.

I liked it, good racing and a good finish, I like Burton and Boyer, that other guy, not so much. Duane

Im not a big fan of the short tracks but it was a good race.. Felt bad for Hamlin..did not feel bad for Kyle.. thought Jimmie did a good job of maintaining his car..was happy Jr got himself another top 5..thought Burton deserved the win.. he knew how to hang back and sneak in when the time was right!!! Good job Burton!

I guess I'm going to have to live with the fact that the COT is here to stay. What a pile of junk. Lap speeds will never be the same :(

This is just my opinion, but I don't think speed dictates how good a race is. I've seen a lot of really good races in slower (lessor division) cars.Heck, I saw a pony stock race last year on dirt that had vurtually everyone in the stands on there feet. Speed is relative. Duane

I agree. How fast they go isn't how good the race is.
