What do ya'll think?

New yellow flag rule?

NASCAR is the ONLY racing body in the world that raced back to the line under yellow. Fans and drivers have been complaining about the response time or the safety crews and this was the biggest factor in that delay.

The only crap is coming from those too blind to see and accept the reality of the danger involved in the old practice.

The new rule is long overdue.
Ever hear of Don MacTavish?

I'm glad they finally did it myself. It has been needed for a long time so that the safety crews can get to the accident sooner and also stop this stupidity of people backing off to give people laps back. It has gotten to where some were getting mad that they weren't given a lap back. The rule about giving one car a lap back I'm still not thrilled about, but like it better than system they had.

The Rule is good because of the safety aspect of it. Now what they need to do is change the end of the race to end with a GREEN/WHITE/CHECKER like they do in the truck series. No racing to the yellow could make the end of one of these races really really boring!

It's about damn time they changed it. It was too dangerous. I'm still not sure about the first car down a lap rule yet tho.

I think the first car one lap down gets a free pass is kinda cheesy.

But it does add a race within the race as they fight for that 1st lap down position. It could make it very interesting at some tracks.

I dont agree with getting free laps back. Say one car is a lap down, and the next car in line is 3 laps down. All that one car has to do it ride around, have 3 minute pit stops, and they get it back for nothing. To me, thats not racing. Once your a lap down, your a lap down. You want it back? race for it!

I like the rule but not the free lap back if your the 'leader of the back markers'... I'll bite, who's Don Mc Tavish??

i think its good it is safer and it gives a kick to the sport by giving drivers a second chance if they mess up or have some early problems. And it is a lot better then watching the leaders slow up between 3 and 4 and let lap down cars pass

I like it and I hate it.

The rule is definitely a step in the right direction, but it needs major tweaking. It sucks that a car 2 laps down or more cant get a lap back. Instead of having the first car 1 lap down get the freebee, it should be the first car within the leader when the caution flies regardless how many laps they are down.
