What do you do to get through without Nascar?

Football here too! By this time of each year NASCAR has lost its luster in my book so it's not a hard transition to make away from the season.

football yet some of you started that weeks ago for some unknown reason for me its week 2 of the NFL, oh and hockey go Flyers:beerbang:

Football, mostly. Then, January testing and Barrett-Jackson. The Super Bowl gets me to the Rolex.

If I really get desperate, I drag out old, old races and watch them.

Hopefully, still going to the Chili Bowl in January. Real racing in the middle of winter to get me through the long break.

I'd like to be going to some Trophee Andros ice racing(mostly in France) In December and January. Former F1 Champion Alain Prost always runs that series and Jacques Villeneuve is running this year too. Unfortunately i cant afford it. Some of the broadcats have shown up on some sites in the past though..

yep, didn't notice any of the Trophee Andros stuff being uploaded last year(i could've missed it though), but those are fun to watch. Seeing them go through those turns sideways kind of reminds me of dirt racing. Definitely the best winter series that I know of anywhere. They actually raced in North America(in Quebec) before I started watching. I wish they would go there again.

I don't miss racing until Feb, and even then Baseball is starting so usually I don't get too excited until right before Speedweeks. I really get pumped up when the end of March rolls around, that's when the local tracks are either opening or practicing.

I'd like to suggest the 1998 Daytona 500. That's a great one to pull out of the archives.

 How does watching a nationally broadcast Caps loss get you through the off season? :D

In a perfect world both of them lose Go Flyers:beerbang:
