What do you think of the new paint schemes?

Seems like they all have some sort of crazy stripes and colors. I like Rusty's paint scheme the best, it's a nice clean, classic look. I like the 24 car too. Bobby Labonte and Tony Stewart's used to be great but I don't like the black that much. Maybe I'm just not used to it.
 
I kinda like how Kyle has got the flag on his car. Maybe he can put it in victory circle this year and show it off in a victory lap.
 
I like cars that stay the same and are familar, such as Ricky Cravens car. I do like some of the other cars as well.
Kyles, Johnnys, Parks, Waltrips, Andretti, and any other car that has bright yellow on the car, or Petty Blue.
 
This was what i posted at johnny's board the otehr day when they asked the top 5 schemes IMO.


1) 45- Kyle Petty GP Brawny Dodge ( very nice, the 1rst 45GP dodge was better, the one that will be raced does nto have the shadowing)
2) 10- Johnny Benson Valovoline Pontaic (a modern classic)
3) 1 - Steve Park Pennzoil Chevy (love the more yellow)
4) 32- Ricky Craven Tide Pontaic (classic Tide, always liked the Tide car)
5) 43- John Andretti Cheerios Dodge (Petty Blue and yellow gotta love it)
Other cars I like are: 23 Stacker2, 01 Army, 14 Harrah's, 49 Ken Scharder

3. Kenny Wallaces 23 Stacker Fat Burner Dodge
4. Mike Skinners 4 Kodak Pontiac (i never really liked the paint scheme on this car)
5. Kurt Buschs 97 Sharpie/Rubbermaid Ford
 
Gotta give credit to RYR for making a brown car look pretty decent.

Yeah, DJ's car does look really good. I remember when they first announced UPS as the new sponsor. A lot of people said the car would be ugly. But you see tons of people wearing his shirts and jackets at the races. I wouldn't mind having a DJ UPS die-cast for my collection. I think he's definitely a contender this year.
 
My favorite change so far is the 42 car. I think it looks sharp.


I have a favor to ask. Laugh at me if you want, but I'm being serious here. I heard that Jayski's has some pics of a special scheme Ward plans to run this season. I hate that site...for some reason I can't navigate it for crap. Would someone who can find their way around Jayski please post the pic if it's there? I'd appreciate it.

This is a diecast that is being release. It MIGHT be run at the Bud Shootout.
 
Didin't really like it either....I think a totally black car would be cool. Like a reverse paint scheme..
 
Yeah, if they reversed the black and the yellow for a few night races...that would look great.

I always have liked yellow on a race car.
 
Yeah, Park's car looks good. All the DEI cars look nice. Is that Park car a 2003? Front end looks like an '02. Or maybe I'm just going senile. I'll be 30 this year.
 
I do love the more yellow on the #1 car. I really liked the old #30 Pennzoil car when Mikey drove and the one that JB ran in his rookie year.

yeah judas go to jayski's and find paint schemes and they are listed for 02-03 season and farther back
 
I like the US Army paint scheme. I'm a fan of lightning bolts on cars, which give approval to Benson and Sprague's cars. I've always been partial to the Tide ride, and Kyle's new scheme is cool. So is Foyt's car; if only it could run as good as it looks.

Most bland would definitely had to go to Morgan-McClure and Evernham. Can't they be more creative than just a single solid color and the number slapped on?

The powder blue on Jimmy's car looks a lot worse than the dark blue scheme that the team ran last year. And I don't like what they did the the Grainger scheme. That's all I have to say about schemes - for now.
 
I like Wards this year but my favorite paint scheme of all time that he had was last years Black Flames car.
