Mustang, just be patient, finish HS.

Your calling may come to you, even if by accident.

I have always done well as a Csr Svc person of one kind or another since 14 and am now 59.

Please don't push it, sometimes it will fall into your lap, BUT NEVER sacrifice your education. My Eldest is almost 34 and has just re-educated herself to a new and wonderful vocation.

PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I'm planning on getting a degree in business so I can run a car restoration/race shop.

Did I miss something?

Where did 66mustang say he was quitting school?

Actually, I am graduating almost a full year early. I have to take 4 more classes. I need to register next week to start taking night college classes.

Sorry, I just HAD to get that out!!! :p

I was a lowly 7th Grade English/Language Arts teacher for 30 years.

Too tired to find another job, even if I wanted one.

Isn't the 7th grade about the time puberty starts? I wouldn't call that lowly......I call that heroic!! We did a remodel at a Jr High in Pasadena last year.........those 13 and 14 yr olds are a handfull.:D

I have been working at a place called Cast Technologies, not as glamorous as it sounds, its a brass and aluminum foundry. Where I am at is just aluminum castings. I make the molds, then hand pour the castings with these 50lb kettles, then sometimes I get to knock out the castings from the molds with a 20lb sledge, fun fun fun  Even though the work sucks, it still gave me excellent experience, and there is no price on experience.

Do know one thing though, Nate is gong to study harder this next semester so he doesn't have to do this for the rest of his life. Mabey work in a place with air conditioning and not a place with 3 1400degree furnances that keep you nice in toasty even in the middle of the summer, hehe :)

I'm an operator/lab analyst/mechanic/ and doer of anything else that needs to be done at your local Wastewater Treatment Facility. Hows that for a sh*tty job.

More film than you think you need. You'll use it up. And lots and lots of money. :D

Don't take a package trip. Drive your own truck and camper/motorhome or some such.

well, i am a part time electrician and my wife and i have our own company. we are powered by the internet but focus on people. we help others that are looking to improve their financial future by helping them start their own business out of their home and grow from each level of success achieved. the best part is we help others to succeed, not use others to succeed. i love it. theres nothing like looking into someones eyes and seeing them light up for their future instead of facing the same routine they've been in for years. life is good;)

I'm the owner of a lawn care service here in Indiana. I'm also a volunteer firefighter of 7 years.:)

Sweat, I am a poster boy for finishing college. Do yourself a favor and do what you need to do to finish college. I'll be going back soon.

Been working full time since about 15 when I thought I knew it all.

Good grief, I didn't even spell government right in my post. How sad.:anon: :cookoo: :crashcomp :dunce:

If had was in that situation, I'd go to the lawyer's house and punch a hole throught the window. I'd make sure I'd get cut so I could sue them. I wonder if they would think about it differently if it happened to them.
