What ever happened to Spike's weekly game?

Spike, did I somehow inadvertently block you and your threads? Did I miss an announcement that the game was over? Don't know unless you ask.
 
I was wondering the same thing.. There were still about 15 people who had played all year.
 
I guess whoever was leading the standings at the time as of his last thread is the champion.

As for Spike, I remember him getting into a debate with others about Danica's looks. I'm thinking maybe he got mad and left.

Might be time to find a new person to host this game next year.

People who start game threads need a backup person to take over should the game creator bolt.

Nothing is more annoying than starting a game and abandoning it half way through.

I won't step on anyone's toes then by starting a new year long game then. Next time though let us know if you don't plan on running the game out through the end of the season. It does suck to be playing the game only for it end without explanation. It kinda makes me feel like I wasted my time.
 
I didn't want to create this thread as a pile on Spike thread. He's been running this thing for a long time and I know it's a lot of work to do these things. I appriciate the hard work that he does. It's just that if it starts I want to see it's finished. I like playing these things.

I too appreciate the work that goes into any game such as the one that Spike had going.

And let's try to keep things in perspective, it's a game that we're talking about.

Personally, I've find nothing about Spike and his game to bitch about.
 
I'm glad not to have lost anymore spots over the final five races , and I'll play Spikes game again (as long as he doesn't put the price up ) . My one complaint is that infernal dance he's doing .
 
I always start but then I don't finish myself cause I always end up missing a race or two then just give up cause I've fallen way more behind then I was.
 
I started a new job with the railroad in August. It had a 7 week school. Lots of studying. I just got behind and apologize.

Game will be back for the 2014 Daytona 500.

I figured it was because everyone was playing the chase game.. Here's a suggestion that could work...Why dont you guys collaborate and turn them both into one game? Spike's game until the chase and then turn it into Dp's for 12 guys and continue with Spikes for the people that didn't make it? Just a suggestion.. I know it would leave some people out but it'd make Richmond more interesting lol

NOPE. Some of us don't play spikes game, and we like it the way it is so :p :headbang:
