Probably going to rile up the environmentalists but I just read this and think it's a pretty darned good step in the right direction. Seems the enviros are pooh poohing it as "just a drop in the bucket". I say anything in the direction of conserving is good.

Near the end of the article it says that we are talking about 40% of the fuel is used by vehicles, but only about 1/5 (20%) of that is attributed to the environmental change due to the use of those fuels. Seems that enviros are not satisfied with progress..............they appear to want it fixed before the technology is availbable to fix it. It appears to me that progress is being made. Why can't that lobby take it and be thankful?

I like the idea.............but now it'll be tied up with debate and God knows when something will be done. It's a power play.:(

What in the world. Even if the increase is "trivial" is this not a step in the right direction regardless :rolleyes:
