Do u like having DW as a broadcast person feeling he and the fox team have put more excitement into Nascar or do u dislike DW thinking that he is annoying and u cant stand him?

My opinion is that DW is a great Broadcast announcer and has taking Nascar to a whole higher level. He is very funny and adds to the entertainment of the race. Also lets not forget the 2nd most famous words in Racing! BOOGITY BOOGITY BOOGITY!!!!
 
Jaws was a great driver in his time, But in the booth he thinks he still the show.

Very annoying IMO
 
DW alone is bad, but what i like about fox is that its entertaining, and the broadcast team all have a good chemistry and sound like they belong together. Sometimes he can be annoying, but arent allen and Wally annoying sometimes too?
 
Arrogant,overrated as a driver,loved and drooled over by NASCAR when he drove.As a broadcaster as obnoxious as is possible.Fire him,tar and feather him---just get rid of him.Bobby Allsion was right:"Jaws Waltrip is an idiot."

DW is still pretty full of himself yet. He has gone past being entertaining to being annoying.
 
I miss FOX and even DW. BOOGITY, BOOGITY, BOOGITY!

But then again, I miss TNN and ESPN coverage too.
 
DW is sort of full of it. But if I have to choose between DW and Benny. I will take DW anyday. :lol:
 
i like FOX 10 times better than NBC/TNT.
why?:
1. no BP or allen worstwick
2. less comercials, more racing
3. less races on cable during the FOX/FX part of the season. more races on cable during the NBC/TNT part.
 
Ya'll just be happy its on TV, and not on PPV.
I dont care who says this or who said what.. I watch it for the racing! not the talking!
 
I really did like DW when he started with the Fox team. However, when they decided he was bigger than the event, is when he really started getting under my skin. While not a fan of his as a driver, he does add insight as an announcer. But, all of the commercials with him in them and all the build up to "boogity x 3" is beyond annoying. I personally think the Boogity crap is incredibly stupid and should have been halted the first time he uttered it, not encouraged :angry:
 
The boogity thing was neat at first...now it's just annoying. Mostly because I can't stand DW. Now it's getting out of hand with Barry Dodson saying "buckle up buttercup' before each truck race & with Larry Mac trying to weasel in on DW's thunder by saying "Now DW, this is were I tell you to pull them belts tight" right before DW goes into his 'boogity' blubbering. :rolleyes:
 
my friend says the greastest day in NASCAR history would be when FOX ties DW up and puts him on the start/finish line and have him say "boogity boogity boogity":D

I agree with that completly!!


DW was just interveiwed on our local NBC race show he he really knows the history of IMS and is a great guy! I wish he was in the booth for NBC as well as fox!
 
The person that gives me more of a pain than DW is Hammond. He is just starting to get on my nerves really bad. I am sick of that "bring it on" crap......
