Imagine this, NASCAR took another race date from somewhere or decided to add more race dates in the schedule to torture our favorite drivers more. Now with those race dates, I think fans are beginning to get tired of the usual track rotation they see every year and the content of the racing in some of those tracks (cough*cough Homestead, California, Chicagoland, New Hampshire, Pocono *cough*). Well, I took it upon myself to ask y'all this question: Which kind of track would you like to see more in NASCAR racing ?
If you're basically a newbie or havin a hard time makin up your minds. Here are some examples
Superspeedways - Daytona and Talldega. Range over 2.5 miles in length and feature plenty banking, also feature the restrictor plate.
Speedways - California, Michigan, Las Vegas and Texas and other tracks. Range from 1.0 to 2.0 miles (2.5 for Pocono, excluded from being a Superspeedway)
Short Tracks - Bristol, Richmond, Phoenix Martinsville. Range from 0.5 to 1.0 miles. Feature lots of bumping.
Road Courses - Infineon Raceway and Watkins Glen International. Feature lots of turns, left and right, know what I mean. When you think Road course, you dont have to think of some pavement and grassland or sandpits. You can think big like maybe Monaco in F1 or think a street course in Manhattan.
