Loudon and Indianapolis for now. Others later. The wife has never been to either one. Happy Wife etc.

I usually to go to both Texas Cup races every year with my dad. But my dad moved to N.C. last summer, and last fall we went to Charlotte for the first time instead. This year, I went to N.C. for spring break, and we went across the mountains to see the race in Bristol for the first time (My new favorite). A few weeks later, he came to Texas. Hopefully, we will be able to see Bristol and Texas again later this year.

So far this year:
N'wide at Fontucky
Long Beach Grand Prix
Winternationals Qualifying
Later this year:
Infineon for CUP
TMS for CUP
Austin, TX for F1 (hopefully)
Phoenix for CUP
Chicago for CUP

My bad I didnt add the so fars this year but thats a good add on.

Been to
P,Cola 5 Flags Speedway
Mobile Int Speedway
Bristol Cup, NWS
Texas, Cup, NWS
Talladega, Cup, NWS
Going to so far, more to come.
Loudon Cup, NWS, reason- as stated above.
Indianapolis Cup, NWS, reason also stated above.

Charlotte (Trucks and All Star event)
Michigan (Arca, NW and Cup)
Indy (NW and Cup)
Michigan (Trucks and Cup)
Chicago (NW and Cup)
Phoenix (NW and Cup) <tentative>

I'm sure I'll go to a few local short track races as well.

It's been only local tracks for over ten years now. Thunder Road and White Mountain Motorsports Park for the American Canadian Tour mostly. I had intended to go to the IndyCar race at Loudon this year if there was one, but that was axed.

If I could afford it, I would attend every Cup race for one complete season. I would dine in the finest restaurants and see the most popular sites in each scheduled city. Unfortunately, I have bills and a career that get in the way.
So the closest tracks work for me. I've already been to Vegas and Fontana this year, I'm going to try to hit Phoenix at the end of the year.

Just local tracks. We've been to many Cup races and have that experience and now we just watch the races on TV live if they aren't on a Saturday night. That is reserved for our local racing.

Stafford, Thompson and Waterford, all in CT. Maybe my old track Seekonk, once or twice. Loudon for the mods.

Only 3 this year and yes, it's because of the economy. If I could afford more I'd go to them. I have more than enough vacation time available. It simply costs too much for me to attend as many as I used to. This year it's both Bristol races and the fall Martinsville race. Maybe a drive out to both Pocono races for the day if the funds are there by that time.

It's a shame though. There's nothing like going to and experiencing the race at the track. Like I heard the other day..... There are three NASCAR Cup races on each week. There's the television version, the radio version, and the attended version. The first two don't compare to the latter.

As mentioned, I'd go to way more races but the cost. As it is, I plan on attending 5 with hopes for a 6th but it never seems enough.

And as DPK mentioned, the disparity between what sees/hears on a broadcast and what one sees at the track is huge.

" WOW " :D

Unless I go to the Bristol night race, I won't be going to any this year.

Hope to see ya at The Snowball this year.....it's all about funding though.

Hope to see you there, thats the number 1 race that I try my best to never miss. The two best races hands down, even better than all of the nascar greats that have raced there was, number 1 Johanna Long beating some of the best short trackers there are including some nascar drivers and number 2 when the officials disqualified and kicked KyBu off the property for cheating and he hid behind his bodyguards screaming and spitting and just making an ass out of himself yelling about all of the stupid rednecks from the sticks. It was hilarious, I was about 15' from the action. You should have seen the headlines in the local Sunday paper. As they say, priceless.

I'll be going to the Daytona race in July
Because I like restrictor plate racing

I'm hoping to make it to as many races i can this year. This is my weakest year(at this point in the year) for going to races in a very long time. Planning on seeing the NASCAR Canadian Tire series in Mirabel QC tommorow, K&N at Gresham Motorsports park next week, and hopefully as many as i can for the rest of the year.
So far this year i've been to
K&N Pro Series at Greenville Pickens South Carolina
NASCAR Canadian Tire Series at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park Ontario
World of Outlaws Late Model Series at Wayne County Speedway Ohio

Daytona for the 400 (It's close)
Martinsville for the fall race (Favorite Track)
Speedrome in Indy for the 34th Figure 8 World Finals which I will be documenting on a thread here in September. Maybe Tony Stewart will be there, lol.

I'm hoping to take my 2 sons to the fall race at Charlotte, they enjoy touring the shops and we plan on spending an afternoon at the Hall Of Fame.
