Lap 6 and 7 and 8 and 9 are devoted th #8 in 32ed position getting passed and passed and passed and passed... Is there a favorite car out there? I want to see something besides the 32ed place car getting passed.

well it wasn't only for dale jr. jimmie jonhson is/was at the back at that time, and plus that is where the race is heating up for now
 
It's called being aware that a huge percentage of the fans watching the race are fans of the driver that is falling back in field. Like it or not, the broadcasters are doing the right thing by showing what's happening to the most popular driver in the series. Devoting three laps to a driver early in the race is not showing favoritism..........it's giving the fans what they want to know.

If Jr continues to have problems and keeps falling back they won't pay much attention to him at all.......unless he does like he did at Pocono and runs well even though laps down. There is plenty of coverage of the top runners, as it should be........but the most popular driver is going to get his share too. The nature of any sport.
 
Well, it doesn't look like they will be showing much of the #8 car the rest of the race. :)

Probably true.........but he isn't whining about it!! :)
 
yeah he is not...but inside of him it pains him. he is just probably showing a good face just so people mainly the media dont go piss him on some more

I don't know Betsy, I always like watching the 8 go backwards. :growl:
 
Hmmmm I wonder where all those people who thought that Jr. got special breaks? Rule bending just for JR. Hmmmm that special plate at daytona and talladega, and of course they are gonna show Jr. falling back he is one of the top teams in cup. I remember a race this year where they followed jeff gordon a few laps cause he was falling back, It does'nt matter who you are if you're a top team and you're falling back they are gonna show it and if ya stay back there then they don't show ya no more
