Yeah really...I'm not sure how he can top 2011 (dive bombing corners in 2 seperate races on restarts, wrecking cars running up front like Max Papis and Marcos Ambrose) and 2012 (spinning out many people, including dumping Tagliani in a race for the lead, then being a very sore sport when Tag's teammate does a bump and run on him) but we shall just see. I seriously am considering trying to find Roger Penske's email and trying to convince him to choose a different road course ringer (like Boris Said, who's argueably the best right now), but Jaques DOES make the races a bit more interesting...

I love Boris, but compare his record in a stock car with Ron Fellows.

Penske's running Fords now; maybe he should see what Marcos is doing that Saturday...

Hence why I said argueably -- Ron Fellows is also very talented on road courses.

I was never a big Rusty fan , but I do know that he is not stupid enough to put Steven in a ride that he can't handle. Most folks here are quick to condemn anyone who didn't make it "the right way." Daddy's money , etc. I hope he does well too.

if Rusty really had so much pull, then he would have gotten Steven in a better ride then his own.. I honestly feel like Steven did as much as anyone else could with Rusty's cars.. it's not like Brendan Gaughan was doing any better. Sure, wrecking them is not gonna get you far but they never did have a top car to begin with.
 
yeah and what has brendan done?? he did nothing in RCR cars. didn't jmac win in rusty's cars?? you can't blame the cars when you wreck all the time.
 
I'm not totally blaming the cars but it's not like they had a dominating program where they could just throw anyone in the car and do well. Steven hasn't really shown enough to get better I understand.
 
RWR is a good example of a team with mid range equitment. The way I see it, a average driver in mid range equitment will produce maybe 3-4 top 5s in a year. Steven got 4 top 5s...IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER!
 
Do you guys remember NASCAR Drivers 360? The reality show that was on FX in like 04-05 and followed NASCAR drivers around for a week in between races?

I remember the Rusty Wallace episode, he was just getting RWR up and started. Steven was like 17 and still in high school and flunking math. Rusty was trying to get him to pay attention and finish high school and Steven just wanted to race cars. At the time, I sort of felt for Steven since everybody would rather race cars, but, after seeing his racing career... well, I hope he finished high school.

Steven Wallace is back? Another charter member of the 3D club (Daddy's Dollars Drivers) returns!
 
goofy kid on tv.........even if he had stenhouse skills .

low on sponsor list........rusty name has been carryin him so far....we'll see.
