So what do you like about 4 time champion Jeff Gordon?
 
The total package --- articulate and talented.
I admire his dedication to the sport, and truely admire his talent behind the wheel.

A truely great champion.
 
A truly talented race car driver, never to be counted down and out. He is human, and when mistakes happen, he is quick to turn those mistakes around into something positive. Has a very generous heart, very articulate in his speech and carries himself with pride. And, he is such a cutie! :katts:
 
Jeff always puts his team and crew in a positive light. Giving and caring in both his time and donations. Kept a positive attitude through tough times in his personal life and kept as much out of the press as possible. From what I have been able to observe from appearances, he has a great sense of humor. The man is absolutely talented and has already made his mark on NASCAR. I personally feel, we are watching a legand race weekly.
 
Who Me? ALL of the above and more. His histroy speaks for itself, he takes it on the chin if appropriate, talented in almost every form of RACING, a true gentleman and frient to soo many, warm spirited, charity oriented, has warm, giving family backup and on and on............

Jeff is a great champion and will go down as one of the greatest in Nascar history.

Besides, I have a cereal bowl (Kelloggs) that states on the rim..."The Kid and the Champ". It was issued when he first started in Nascar and has a picture of him and Dale, Sr.
 
I'll just say that I agree with all of the posts on this subject.
 
I will agree with Thunder. You guys have said it all. He has always been my favorite, but one thing that I have noticed and like about him is he does not seem to mine when his team-mates win and get a some praise. I think that he just wants to continue to be competitive.
 
I just really like his determination and competitive nature. But the most impressive thing about that to me is that he doesn't have to resort to the immature antics of some of his competitors (i.e.throwing tempertantrums, screaming, wrecking other drivers). The other guys seem determined but I really don't think they are any more determined, just foolish.

He is also very charitable. The Jeff Gordon Foundation gives away tons of money to people who really need it.

And he is obviously one heck of a talented driver.
 
The man can drive the wheels off a race car. And a 4 time Winston Cup champion. What else can you say.
 
I like what Gollum said. Jeff can drive, and he's got 4 championships under his belt. One of the more "better" NASCAR drivers.

I know this is an older thread but since I'm new, thought I would post on it. I read where Jeff went to another State with his 24 car to drive a very seriously ill little boy to school in the #24. Drove up to door and walked him in. A great driver and great person.
