I went for Kyle, even though junior winning the championship would be cool

in this order of importance

1. mike helton quites:D
2. kyle wins
3. rusty wins the 500
4. the oldies beat up the newbies
5. junior wins the cup

and tied with zero importance
jeffy wins 5th and sarah wins at indy.

j ozzman, like the Mike Helton one! :)

I would like to see some of the "oldies" school the young guns!
But I would be happy as long as...
...everyone is safe!
...Gordon or Rusty don't get close to the Championship.
(add Jimmy Johnson to that mix)
AND TONY "THE MAN" STEWART" wins the Championship!
:D

Of course mine isn't up there: Bill winning the championship and retiring on top! Helton leaving would make my day too!

What is everybody's deal with Helton? I think he does a pretty good job...

Dale jr win th championship and th Flamin boy not making th top ten in points.
:FIREdevil

You'll be lucky if Jr gets in the top 15. Gordon in the top 10 is pretty much a given.

His performance since he got into WC. Not that I'm rooting for Gordon, but to say he won't make the top 10 is kinda silly.

What else is there to say...Amen!

Hey, Jeff didn't set the world on fire when he first started either... it takes time my man.. it takes time..

Jr did good in 2000.. he won a few races when he was a rookie... 2001 he did great and you know that.. 2002 is a different story, but towards the end of the year, he was kickin ass and takin' names...

So far Jeff Gordon has proven he's good........no one can honestly deny that. So far Jr has proven he can be good.........but Jr's been around Winston Cup for four years. Jeff's been around ten. How can anyone make a statistical comparison yet?:) I voted for Jr getting a Championship.........I know that is a stretch. But the question was "What Would U Rather See Happen in 2003?". What might really happen is something else.:D

Mine wasn't up there. So I went with my second driver. Dale jr, wins champ.

jr did start kickin' some major ass tward the the end.
i think he might be able to pull off a win at the daytona 500 this year but not a championship.

Mine's not listed either. I would really like to see Ward finish in the top 10 but since it wasn't one of the choices I went with Kyle in Victory Lane but I would also like to see the Old Guns show up the Young Guns....

Of those, I would like to see Rusty get a 500 win. I'm not his biggest fan or anything, but i do like him and it would be a good way to end his winless streak.

A second one i'd like to see is Kyle Petty get a win this season.

being a Terry Labonte fan, i definately voted for the oldies to out do the youngies!!!!!!!!!! GO 5 CAR:calpping: :calpping:

I just hope Terry has a decent season this year. He's really been struggling the past few years.

i know rpmallen!!!!!!!!!! very rough for him...........look at Bill Elliott though, he was in a slump for along time too, it comes with the territory i guess.

Yeah, but the problem is Terry Labonte is starting to get old. If you have a bad season at this age, people start whispering the "r" word (retirement). If they have a couple bad seasons, people wonder why they are not already retired.

I'd say this is the last season Terry is going to have to prove himself. If Kellogs decides to leave or they want a new driver, Terry Labonte is going to have a difficult time finding another ride.

I'd really like to see start being able to compete for the win again. But as every year his season becomes more dull, it makes me wonder if i will ever see that again. And his testing speeds at Daytona aren't making that look any better.

Rpm.........don't give up on ole Terry!!:) Two time Champ will always be a Champion.

And test speeds are just that........TEST speeds! Not any real guage to judge anything at all upon! This is the first year that I ever heard of testing having anything to do with how a team may or may not be doing as far as a season is concerned.........just media hype.

the "R" word has crossed my mind too............if Terry does retire, it's okay, because Terry has been one of the most patient, and established drivers, and for him to retire with 2 Championships, he would have no reason to not hold his head high!!!!!!!!!!! no matter what, GO TERRY LABONTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went Rusty...if he wins, it means DEI didn't.

As to Junior kicking some rear at the end of last season, I think it's more accurate to say he didn't suck as bad as he did earlier. Junior is not exactly the sharpest crayon in the box, and the other drivers know it. For example, he was hooked up at Phoenix, really had a good car and great set-up. So naturally, he can't WAIT to show it off, goes out on every restart, and jumps out to a 10 second lead or whatever. Fine, said the rest of the field. Burn up your tires, we'll be here when you drift back to us. And guess what? They were, he did, and I guess some people define that as kicking rear. I define it as idiocy, but hey, what do I know?

Ok I thought I posted under this?

I voted for Kyle, I really like Ms.Fisher in the IRL IndyCar seris and i would love for her to win her first of many races at Indy and become the first female to win the 500.
