What's going on tonight?? Is everyone saving their energy for Daytona! Come on people the night is young? Just who's out there ( man I wish I had 97's eye cam right now!) :)

I'm here. Just checking around. Not sure where everyone else is, but Dee is out with the girls this evening.

I've started my kitchen remodel we've planned for over a year---it's reallll fun <_< but I can't wait to see the finished product!! :)

Yep, I know what ya mean, sg. I really need to get back to the project I started. All I have left to do is paint the trim and I can put the room back together.

Geez...you folks watch to much 'Home improvement'.........

Well, that's what happens sometimes when one of the kiddos moves out. You'll learn this sooner or later!

Hey buster---I pulled all the trim my self and helped pull the drywall down. Then next on the list is to pull up the floor, install new beams and sub floor! Then we are putting cedar on the ceiling!! It's tongue and groove and will look very nice with the new cabinets we bought at Home Depo! Then the theme will be a primitive americana colored kitchen!!! :)

Yep...still a few years away! My oldest daughter is about to turn 13 though!

Yippee.

Sounds nice, sg. Can't afford new cabinets for my kitchen, but I will throw a coat of paint and they will look good as new. But, that's later on down the road. First I have to get that bedroom finished so I can move some of the things out of the living room and get the hardwood floor down.

Hey Maj--it's great to do the work and do it the way you want it done! The hubby and I are doing this remodel ourselves! Wish us luck :p

Sending all the luck your way I can! Hope it turns out just the way you want!

ok-first Maj thanks for the good luck wish--I have a feeling we will need it!! We got a steal on our cabinets. Hubby went to home depo for a pantry cabinet and came back with a complete kitchen display they wanted to get rid of----for 5,000.00!!! That's everything, pantry, island, and a very very nice countertop!!!

97---its the colors of the american flag--just not as bright, think brick red, dark blue and a creamy white! :) then you scratch it up a bit, take off some of the paint and that's primitive! :) It's a great look if you like that kinda thing

Shady, are you gonna stain the cedar? My Living room has a cedar wall around the fireplace, all on the diagonal. We had 2 corner units built to match.

Kat we talked about putting tin on it, but then ran into this cedar flooring and it was a great deal! I wanted to put it on a diagonal, but then I think we are skipping that for now! We're going to stain a clear coat so the color show through.

Well, 97, it's not exactly the white you had in mind now is it???? Oh, well, sg it sounds great! And it sounds like you got a GREAT deal on everything!

I like 97 have gotta go for now. Hope to be back later. If not, will try tomorrow. Have a good evening, sg.

The kiddies here are getting ready for bed! I'll be back later! Everyone play nice and try not to remodel anything while we're gone!! ^_^

Our cedar is natural unstained, but then again, it's not in a kitchen.

Checking in. I was watching a Jackie Chan DVD "Medalion". It was kind of lame, but the kids enjoyed it. I always enjoy watching movies, eating popcorn and snuggling my girls a little.

Good times. :salute:

We can just kick up our heels, play the music as loudly as we want to. Nobody here to say otherwise!

YeeeeeeeeHawwwwwwwwwwwww!

Well hell yeah! So far so good---no one has called the cops yet! This aint too bad Maj.  :bounce: I got Tanya Tucker on the cd----no lie. "Blood red and goin' down"! Man they dont write 'em like that anymore.

It/s better than that '7 women on my mind one' they sing. Although I can generally identify. Nah, I am kidding, I dont know seven women.

Thank God.

Anyhow, I am not going to drink and get on here anymore after tonight Maj.

Why's that? You are making perfect sense. At least it's better than your SOL experience! :D

Yeah it is. Not that I have the floggiest notion what you are talking about though.

And I am pretty sure floggiest ain't a standard word. <_<
