Of course many will not believe the words, but it is an interesting statement. As is the entire quote as I found it. Do ya have a feeling that Greg and Kurt may be too much alike to like each other??

Roush Lets It Slip That Biffle and Busch Don't Like Each Other Very Much:

Car owner Jack Roush let it slip Sunday that his drivers Kurt Busch and Greg
Biffle are not the best of friends. Said Roush: "When push comes to shove, I
don't think they like one another very much." Roush has another potential
problem -- two potential Winston Cup championship contenders in Matt Kenseth
and Busch, both top five in points. "Matt will race hard and Kurt will race
hard and there are no rules, except it's understood that they should not
unnecessarily take one another out," Roush said. "Racing for the win is fair
game. Whatever happens happens."
 
Thats interesting! :) I didnt know they didnt like each other...
 
Busch made a remark after California that Biffle raced him harder than anyone else did that day.Trouble in paradise?

Yeah,I would think so.Been pretty evident for Roush watchers for a while that Greg and Kurt race each other pretty hard.Good.It can only make each that much better,IMO.And unlike Kenseth's smooth Pearson-like style,the killer B's race almost excactly alike.

As for the statement by Jack:I doubt if he would interfere in the outcome of the race one way or another.He simply knows the temperment of race drivers to well to get involved.I believe him anyway.

Any interesting remark by Kenseth a few weeks back was that Busch and Biffle were simply better drivers than he is!What's attention getting is that Matt(Who is smoother than either)mentioned the two in the same breath.True,right now Greg is still getting his feet under him,much like Kurt did in his rookie year.But when he hits his stride I would bet money that few OTHER than Busch (or maybe Stewart )can run with him.

And man,I cant wait to see it!
 
97forever, I agree 100% about Biffle! I'm certain he will be a title champion in NASCAR, (whatever the title name might be) I think we'll have some great battles with Stewart, Biffle Busch.

My thoughts exactly. Greg and Kurt ought to be good watching.

Biffle's "chip-on-the-shoulder" attitude reminds of Jack Sprague when he and Ron battled in the trucks. Jack admitted that he thought you didn't want friends in the garage. He said he found out otherwise.
 
I just hope this doesn't push Kurt out the door into the arms of DEI as has been speculated on. I mean right now I'm indifferent to Kurt and I'd hate for that to change... <_<

:swords: Seriously,I doubt Busch is going anywhere.I am pretty sure Jack locked him in for quite a while.Jack wanted a nine year contract for brother Kyle....does anyone know how long Kurt's contract with Roush is?

:rolleyes: Biff has that same 'take no prisoners' attitude as Kevin Harvick. I've liked Biff since he got screwed out of the CTS championship & Kevin couldn't even hold his jock in that series. The ONLY reason the Earnhardt rednecks don't like him is because he doesn't have a bow tie on his front nose. Give me a break! :rolleyes:

"Why cant we all just get along" I thought that may be ggod for a laugh but does everyone remember the good ole days when Harvick would put a fender to Biffle and then Biffle would come back and just flat out put Harvick in the wall or visa versa-----Man where has the past couple of years went.--------Oh that wasnt the topic-------Busch and Biffle will be fine, in my own opinion, but who knows, remember when DW and Neil were teammates they didnt get along a whole lot either
 
Actually I think Matt & Kurt are becoming buds. Of course they share the same shop, but Matt has talked Kurt into coming up to WI to race in the Miller Lite Natl's. Does anyone know where Biff's shop is at? I know Mark & Jeff are across the street from Matt & Kurt. Were down there for the Winston last year.
 
According to Roushracing.com,Biffle is currently housed with Mark and Jeff until a new shop is constructed...actually a little surprised that Roush did'nt have more preparations made for Greg's arrival.
