What's Left After The Crash Of A Camper On Main St.

A portion of West Main Street was covered in debris Sunday evening after a camper being pulled by a vehicle collided with a light pole. Greeneville police officer Shane Matthews reported Juddson Kieffer Easterly, 21, of 1809 Delwood Circle, was traveling eastbound shortly after 8 p.m. when he swerved right to make a left turn. At the last minute, Easterly decided to go straight, and the camper leaned right, striking the light pole, according to the report. The camper was sheared off the trailer frame, the report said, causing appliances and other debris to be scattered in front of Calvary Chapel, the former location of Kiser Funeral Home. Easterly was charged with not having insurance.
