The fans cheering for Dale Earnhardt Jr, or..
The fans booing Kurt Busch. As of last weekend, what is the most popular?

I'm not exactly sure what your question is asking. I believe that at Bristol last weekend, those who were yelling/cheering for Jr. were also the same ones who were booing for Kurt.

I was there, it wasn't just the Jr fans, it was everybody! lol
Even after the post-race, all you could hear was a loud roar of boos when Kurt raised his arms in victory. It was horrible...lol. I think Jeff Gordon has been replaced by Kurt as NASCAR's biggest boo receiver. LOL

nick, after reading what I posted, I even confused myself. Let me revise what I said......those fans that were yelling/cheering for Jr. were also booing for/at Kurt.

And, yes it does seem that for the time being Kurt has taken over the boos that were usually for Jeff. Makes me no nevermind. As DE politely explained to Jeff at a point early in Jeff's career in Nascar, if it's cheers or if it's boos, as long as there is noise from the crowd, that's all that matters. They recognize your name and know who you are either way! The worst thing that a person can hear when their name is announced is silence. That is when your career is over.

I was there too & it WASN'T everyone!

I've been going to Bristol since 1992. Obviously there is more people there than ever before. But that's the loudest booing I've ever heard there or anywhere. I've been to a UT-Florida football game in Neyland Stadium. Those boos were louder than boos for Steve Spurrier. I was standing at the fence when the boos rained down. I saw the look on his face. He did not mind the boos, he loved it IMO.

Maybe not you, but if a guy who is drunk off his arse can boo, I call it everyone! LOL

but who held their arms up in victory lane!!! I think the fans were just tired of seeing kurt busch and ryan newman winning almost all the races

I get tired of seeing anybody win almost all the races, reguardless of who it is. The only driver I wanted to see win every race was Dale Sr. But now I would just as soon see a different driver in victory lane every week.

me too about dale sr. but when you have a favorite driver or favorite team or something you want them to win

i think the boos were for both Kurt and nastycar and by the way 17 your right not everybody was booing only about 99.9% were, I was there also, haven't missed a race at BMS in 26 years and i have never heard that loud of booing not even when DE bumped TL out of the way.

because thats dale earnhardt the intimidator who would boo a legend like that he was my favorite driver i have a bunch of autographs of him.

I'm getting tired of Dale Jr not being in victory lane. Plain and simple, well guess that's what the Busch Series is for.

... I'll go back to my hiding hole now
