Should Jimmie Johnson go to the Busch Series for a while and learn how to drive or what? Seems every week he runs somebody over and tears up good racecars. Then he complains that it was someone else's fault.

i just read that Jimmie Johnson is claiming that Tony Stewart got in front of him and hit his breaks to "mess with him"...Johnson claims he's the whipping post with Stewart....i am not lying when i said i read that...Johnson actually is saying that Stewart hit his breaks to mess with him while Stewart was going into a corner....Johnson needs to learn to man up when he causes a wreck and take blame for it...im so sick of Jimmie Johnson and his "i can do no wrong attitude"

by the way folks...im not a Tony Stewart fan at all.

"He started doing the same thing again (even though) I haven't been around him all race," Johnson said. "Shoots me the bird running down the backstretch and runs me all over the place and then goes in the turn and stands on the brakes to mess with me.

It does seem Jimmie needs a little reality check. :) Does anyone truly believe Tony singles him out during races? :D

Well Golden Boy's (Jeff Gordon) Protege has to have SOMETHING to whine about.

how many people has Jimmy wrecked this year ??
a bunch, looks to me like he won;t have many friends when he gets to Daga

he'll always have gordon to his friend...those 2 will hook up for the entire race....i just wish the boy would admit when he screws up....he needs a reality check real soon...he doesnt know how lucky he is to be driving for the team and car he's drivng......there are a ton of other great drivers out there that are stuck in cars that are 1 or 2 levels lowers than hendrick....Jimmie Johnson should kiss Rick Hendrick and Jeff Gordon's ass every day for what they have done for him.

"Shoots me the bird running down the backstretch and runs me all over the place and then goes in the turn and stands on the brakes to mess with me.

This sounds like Tony.
I would just like to say that DW pointed out that Tony and Jimmie were both on the brakes when Jimmie ran into Tony. That he could see the brake rotors glowing. Now as to which came 1st he didn't know. Could it be that Tony does have it out for Jimmie and he's not going to be overt about it and suffer at the hands of NASCAR. Besides with Jimmie being the points leader having him finish poorly will bring more guys to within 400 points.
This piling on of Jimmie is almost hilarious. Some drivers aren't doing well so let's find a whipping boy and blame it on him...

You can say that again. It seems year after year, whoever's leading the points at this stage of the season....can do no good.

so your supporting Jimmie's claims that Stewart hit his brakes to mess with him?.......any driver out there knows that if you "check up" or hit your brakes like that with someone close to you, going into a corner like they were...would have gotten spun out.....i dont think Stewart wanted to spin out...even if he was "messing" with Johnson

He did hit his brakes according to the booth. What has happened that everyone thinks Tony is a Saint all of a sudden? He is one of NASCAR's bad boys and he relishes the role. What would Jimmie's motivation be to take out Tony?
Could it be the Hendricks/Gordon connection?

So, I guess that Jimmie didn't come to a complete stop after he got into the back of Stewart! Please, people! Tony Stewart the complete INNOCENT here????? I have to agree with Tony Denali. The man in front is always gonna be the whipping boy!

im not a tony stewart fan at all...in fact i cant stand him because of his dirty driving last year...i never said he was a saint...im sick and tired of jimmie johnson's whinning and his i can do no wrong attitude.

Johnson flat out spun Stewart out and then laid the blame on someone else

Take the "h" out, and you're now tired of Jimmie Johnson's WINNING! Maybe that's the problem everyone is having.

hey rubbin is racin and its not like stewart has never done that to anyone.

oh well...guess im the only one on this board that would like to see Johnson man up for the mistakes he makes and admit he's wrong when he's wrong.

Well, unless you were either in Stewart's car or Johnson's car, you DON'T know who is right and who is wrong.

However, he (Waltrip) is also the same idiot that said "um, did he even hit Tony??" when it was obvious that he had from the "jack up" the rear of Tony's car received. If Tony had hit Jimmie Waltrip's eyesight would have been 100% and he would have been accusing Tony of aggressive driving. His opinions are so scewd they are useless.

yea i suppose your right (sarcastic)

if tony stewart did hit his brakes...then Joe Gibbs needs to fire him for stupidty

C'mon Maj......whould you agree to this statement with what happened between Jimmie and Harvick before the 500? ;)

Jimmie has shown signs of being impatient a few times this year. With the pressure put on him about winning the Championship, I can almost understand it. But I wish he would admit when he screws up.

fergy, I will certainly agree that there have been a few times that the impatience has shown. In Jimmie, and all of the rest of the drivers, too! That wreck wasn't the ONLY wreck/caution in the entire race.

And, the incident you referenced is a completely different situation. ;)

Naw, it wasn't the only wreck/caution of the entire race. :) But it was the only wreck/caution involving Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart. :) My true thinking is that it basically was one "them racin' deals". However, having seen it live on TV and all the replays from different angles and then reading each driver's take on the incident I have to say Tony's take makes more sense than Jimmie's. Stewart's thinking apparently is closer to mine.......Jimmie was in a hurry to get up front and didn't exactly show much patience. Jimmie's thinking, apparently, is that Tony was out there for the sole purpose of messing with him. And I just don't believe any driver running at that time was out there messing with anyone........especially when that messing could very well put you in a wall. If fault is going to be leveled.......then Jimmie was more at fault than Tony. And it would be nice if Jimmie accepted that fact. Instead he says Tony caused Jimmie to run into him..........like some insurance scam or something.

Come on Jimmie.........step up and shoulder some of the blame when you are, at least, a little guilty.

well, you know, the both get so coddled by their owners and get so much press over anything and everything they do either way, it makes perfect sense that they both would prima donna-ize everything that ever happens...especially when the two collide. If it was Carl Long and Hermie Sadler, neither guy would be acting like a child. In fact, look at a similar incident involving Stewart and Barrett the other week...Tony played the blame game and Stanton quietly said, "no, let's look at the tape and then talk about it" did stewart pony up? No, but it doesn't matter, because now the media has something else to make a bigger deal out of. More than likely, the chuckleheads in the booth will also make a big deal out of this the same way the did the Busch/Gordon and Hmiel/Jarrett incident.
