hendrick cars lately? they've been having sway bar trouble...and the such..

and it's only the 24 and 5....but yet they aren't in the same shop..the 24 and 48 are in one shop and 5 and 25 in a second shop...wierd

yes..very wierd, one can only wonder what is going on :/ .

Since it seems to be the bolts/brackets breaking, if I were Hendrick, I'd have a talk with my supplier. Could be substandard material used to make the parts.

Not weird at all. Jeff Gordon is a partner with Rick Hendrick on the 48 car and they built a new facility when that association began.

The word is........they all communicate and have regular meetings. That might have changed but doubtful as it is reported there is communication between drivers and comments made during interviews indicate that communication continues even though the four teams are not garaged together, the four teams are on the same page.

i wonder if they are trying something new? surely if its the same problem they would have gone back and checked the batch numbers on the parts that are failing.

This was my hunch...

These guys are always pushing the envelope on stuff, especially with Jeff on the line I can see them trying some crazy set-ups.

I think with the different tires that Goodyear is coming up with, the teams are trying to combat not using so much camber with limiting body roll to stop the right front from wearing out too soon. I think they're cinching the sway bar down.
