Of course, almost all of us here are American, but what is your heritage. Just keeping with my surname (Thompson) my family tree has been traced back to Ireland where the house my, let's see, great, great, great grandfather lived is still standing in Balleymoney, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. I always consider myself an Irishman, but as with most of us, I've got a bit of everything in me. My mother was told she was 1/4 Cherokee Indian, but the majority of her clan came from England. My father's mother was born in Germany, so I guess that makes me 1/4 Kraut. Hmmm, an Irishman and a Kraut with a little bit of American Indian! No wonder I love beer! :beerchug:

The Ferguson's (my bunch anyway) came from the McFurgus Clan from the Scottish Highlands and I also have a little Cherokee thrown in there.

hmmm must have been about the same boat buck.
(Stafford) Great, Great, Grandfather came from england, married an indian(must have been the popular thing to do, hehe), mothers side came from ireland, there is other variences in there but thats the main heritage :)

Italian, and German here at the Pbunch house.:)Like a good breakfast at 2 in the morning most times.;) :D

Scotland, but family setteled in Georgia area back in the 1700's and have been there since.

Anywhere where foreign hillbillies wanted to be american hillbillies so they settled in West Virginia. Mostly Scotland and Ireland.

German about 50%
Norweigen about 49.9%
French .1% (The occasional times I act like a jerk, its because this percent came out!)

Scots Irish. Haven't done much geneology, but what has been done points to County Antrim as well.

Mostly English descent. Family came over sometime in the early 1700s, wound up in Tennessee, then came to Texas in 1845.

One side of the family can be traced to Sir John Chalke who came over with William the Conqueror in 1066.

50% German, Pennsylvania Dutch & Slovak
49% Blackfoot & Cherokee Indian
1% Irish

guess im mad at everybody, lol:p

German here. And anything thing else the Germans mixed with over the past 200 years.

German, English, and Cherokee Indian..........but a long time ago!:) Somewhere on my mother's side I'm related to John Witherspoon.......one of the signers of the Constitution.:) But I've never done any real searching. Always just thought of myself "of Amercian decent".

This Kat is of Irish, English, French Canadian, German, Iriquois and Mic Mac (Canadaian natives).

My kids are heinz 57, Romania, Poland, Russia, Poland, Germany, Czeck, and Austian from theis dad' gene pool.

The Irish Part is what I am.

My hubby is English and Cherokee.

My family that moved from Ireland settled in southern Illinois. One of my cousins researched a story that had been in the family about one of our grandfathers wrestling with Abe Lincoln. She thinks that she has proven it and we did find out that Abe di wrestle. Jeez, I didn't know the WWE existed way back then. ;)

mines straight up sounthern redneck but i am releated to ben frankland and besty ross flag designer I am also distantly related to the pettys but throught about 3 sets of marriages and a little back

Not really sure of all my heritage, one side of the family didn't keep really good records and had really bad memories. lol. But from limited research I have German, Dutch, Swedish, Irish, some kind of Indian, family isn't sure since my great-grandmother never really told anyone what tribe she was from, and little bits of Italian and English along with a few other nationalities from way way back that nobody really counts. So I pretty much say I am an American and leave it at that.
