ESPN CLASSIC!?!?!?!?
Thank you ESPN, now Maryland's 3rd largest market and a good percentage of NASCAR fans won't be able to watch the Awards Ceremony just like we can't watch the IRL races.
I'm really restraining from typing expletives, I'm really pissed off now.

I think you offered that once before didn't ya? BTW it is a great offerOK, I'll make you a deal. Go to Best Buy (or where ever) and buy a Slingbox AV Pro. Send it to me. I'll hook it up, for free, to my cable. You will be able to watch all of the Nascar races, award ceremonies, etc. And, I'll use it the other times. I have the full TWC lineup (except for the Pron) so all the channels TWC carries is available.
You won't find a sweeter offer...
I have. I figure if someone is providing the box for a limited viewing schedule and I get the rest of the time and I've got a cable outlet I'm not using where can I go wrong. I've got nothing invested.
A lot of college kids have done this. Hooking the slingbox up in their parents home and with the AV Pro you can change channels thru the Internets.

I saw that when I went to look at "Champions Week" and commented about it only be on Classic. Then on the other side of the page, it had it listed on both Classic and ESPN2. So who knows? Two different things on the same page. NICE. And they wonder why we get confused??? They wonder why ratings drop off? It's hard to chase a race around a bunch of other channels. LOL

most of the NE sector, including maryland, have comcast as the only TV provider besides over-the-air and satelite (the town next to us has suddenlink, similar issue i beieve). Comcast does not offer ESPN classic unless you pay specifically for it.I read this thread three times (reading comprehension disorder) and cannot understand why Andy Marquis and Maryland's third largest market won't be able to watch the awards banquet or IRL races????

NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series™ Awards Ceremony
Friday Nov. 30
Held at the famous Waldorf-Astoria on Park Avenue, the 2007 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series™ Champion will be officially "crowned" and broadcasted on ESPN2 and ESPN Classic.
So, clue me in, why would you want to watch a banquet? Homestead was boring enough, a banquet will be the pits(no pun intended) Duane
Haven't you read his other posts......he's won ESPN's ""basher"" award of the year.
Don't know if y'all heard this, but Jay Mohr is out as emcee.
Hold your applause, it actually gets worse......
David Spade is now the emcee of the nascar awards banquet. At this point, I just think they're trying to hard, and failing miserably.
Actually, ESPN Classic is the one showing it live with a replay on ESPN2. I would assume that means it will not be high def. What a dropoff.
