Where can Michael buy some luck?

Perhaps try retirement, or maybe if your lucky, one of the four races he actually has a chance in, next week's race at Talladega.

Well with this dissappointment when he does run well at tracks other than those 4 but has something happen to him, i'd almost agree with you. It must take a lot of determinism on his part to keep on going.

Where can he buy some luck? Please, he has luck being bought for him by running with DEI.

He's a horrible driver.

Well for right now Stuart Kirby AND Morgan Shepherd are ahead of him. How does that feel?

GoodYear, Napa, Chevy, Coke, Klausner, he forgot Ritz. Michael was so close to shameless self promotion.

As I said, he must have a great deal of determination to keep on going, despite his luck and fans like you, Paul, that try equating a blown tire to his driving ability.

That's all he's got Ciggie.

He better be a shameless sponsor puppet because if he wasn't he would be bagging groceries.

Fans like me?

Oh I forgot people aren't allowed to dislike anyone even remotely associated with anything Earnhardt.

My apologies.

What the heck does this have to do with Earnhardt? I've been supporting Michael long before he drove for DEI.

Oh, and i guess I'm sorry that fans like me can't like Michael waltrip b/c he is associated with Earnhardt. I guess him driving for DEI makes him a horrible driver. Gotchya.

Everyone can support whoever they want, it doesn't matter who they drive for. It's not that I or anyone else might not like your favorite driver, we just start questioning when we always see them wreck. That goes for anyone from Ken Schrader, to Jerry Nadeau.

Ken Schrader has been the sacrificial lamb in this Cup race. This last wreck with him getting into the Jesus car of Shepherd might be the last blow that car can take.

Race that car, Jesus.

OK, sacrificial lamb and Jesus, two things I do NOT want to get into. I'm just curious as to how and why cueball hasn't wrecked yet.

Dude, you can root for whoever the hell you want, just as I can dislike anyone I want to.

No one gave you crap for pulling for Waltrip, yet you give me crap for not pulling for him.

Again, no one said anything about you not being allowed to like him...you're the one that had a fit when someone said they didn't like him.

If by Cueball you mean Todd Bodine, he hasn't wrecked because he's a good driver. If he can get out of the back-pack muck he can run with everyone else.

I don't have a problem with you not liking him. You can like or dislike whoever you want. But Dude, if you say he is a horrible racer, I can obviously react on that. Why does this surprise you?

Whether you like him or not, Michael has had a lot bad luck...he does race well if somehow he doesn't get involved in a wreck, bumped, blown tire etc... And from what I saw of him he drives with class without shoving people out of the way like some drivers do. Also to have disappointment two days in a row like that after qualifying really well, you need something to keep going.

Todd Bodine is a good driver, but the way he's been racing this year makes it harder to remember the days where he really was an impressive driver. We'll see how he does today.

By saying he is a horrible racer all it means is that he doesn't like him.

Perhaps Todd Bodine has more talent then I give him credit for. I've just gotten accustomed to him being stuck back there and getting caught up in a wreck.

I disagree with saying that Waltrip doesn't bump people out of the way. I've seen him do it all the time.

Maybe that's why he wrecks alot.

Maybe the "fans like you" comment surprised me.

Everyone bumps, I don't think you can say no one bumps. It's part of the sport, it happens, just understand it's a part of racing.

Like I said, I said from what I saw of Mikey...I'm sure he has bumped people...but not all the time...

Also bumping is different then shoving ppl out of the way...

Bumping/shoving it all produces the same result, you gain a spot

Yes true, one way your opponent doesn't lose it though...and the other way your opponent loses it...yes of course there are exceptions and it depends on the situation and the drivers but I consider one more crucial then the other.

i like mike, because i have no reasion to did like him.

the olny drives i dis like is, Rusty, R Gordon, J Spencer, Roush and his drivers, and a few more.
