I think with he leaving HMS and jarrett leaving MWR, i'm wondering if germain racing might be looking at a 2 car cup team, or if red bull and bill davis want to go to 3 teams?

IMO, bad idea. Penske is spending truckloads of money just to repair Kurt's cars. He don't need shrub wrecking even more. It could bankrupt him...

perhaps I should have added a " ;) " I am not a Penske fan, in NASCAR or IRL although he obviously is a very successful team owner in both series.

They stated in the news conference that kyle was talking with DEI, of course though he will be talking with many teams. My guess though would be him signing with DEI.

So Truex Jr., Shrub, Menard and Biffle. That's not a bad lineup and with the proper support they could make some noise.

It ends 08 but they are having a problem nailing down a sponsor for next year. He's gone thru 3 already.

This is just my prediction.

Kyle Busch will race with RCR, car no. 51.

Ryan Newman will leave Penske and join DEI.

Hornish will go to Cup fill-time.

They don't get along racing each other , no way they would be good teamates, too much dislike for each other.

My guess is Kyle will wind up at DEI.
In my opinion, Kyle at 22 years old is more talented than Dale Jr. was at 22.
I wish Kyle well.

For some reason I keep thinking we'll see him in the RCR 33 car.

Rowdy with RCR? It could happan.

Tuesday when they started reporting this on ESPN, me and dad was at The Keg in Murray, and it said that JR will replace Kyle Busch. Well dad askes "Who was that dumbass that left last year, he can't even make a race" So that may not be a smart move by Rowdy to leave.

Could he go back to Roush?

Unless Jack starts releasing drivers (Hello Biffle) his Inn is full as far as Cup rides.
Your dad was thinking of Brian Vickers who's in Red Bull this year.

Both me and dad knew it was Vickers. But he is basicly a nobody this year. Vickers leaving HMS was pretty stupid.

Toyota will figure it out and be the top car. Why was it stupid for Vickers to leave? He was being outcast at hms, just like Kyle is now.

Kyle was looking elsewhere BEFORE Junior, mainly because he feels his ego wasn't being stroked enough. JMO

Outcast? If anything he is doing that to himself, with his attitude. Vickers went from the best team to an unknown, and it bit him in the butt. Toyota may get everything figgered out, but it may be to late to save his carrear. Rowdy is a much better driver then Vickers.

Yates interested in Kyle Busch...and Kurt too: Add Robert Yates Racing [#38 and #88] to the list of teams interested in signing Kyle Busch to drive next season. "I've sent word through his agent [that I would like to talk to him]," RYR co-owner Robert Yates said on Thursday during a Ford function. "I'm very interested." Said Yates' son, Doug, "He would look good in a Ford." RYR not only wants Kyle, but his brother #2-Kurt. But Kurt Busch has three years remaining on his deal with Penske Racing, and according to his agent has no plans to leave. "That's flattering," said Kurt's agent, John Caponigro. "He's locked in at Penske. He's doing fine. He's looking forward to making the Chase this year and having lot of success at Penske Racing." Kyle became available on Wednesday when it was announced that Dale Earnhardt Jr. was signed to replace him at Hendrick Motorsports next season and that the 22-year-old Busch has been given his release from the final year of his deal in 2008. Bruce Kempton, who represents Kyle, said he's heard from just about every organization in the Nextel Cup garage. He said there had been no contact with RYR, but that his client was willing to listen to anyone. Among the teams other than RYR that have expressed an interest in Kyle are the Chevrolet teams of Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Ginn Racing. While Busch has driven Chevrolets since he left Ford's Roush Racing after the 2001 Truck Series season, he is not married to the manufacturer.(ESPN.com).(6-15-2007)

And just what would RYR do with him?

Over the past 5 years RYR has continually shot itself in the feet while falling further and further behind the other top teams.
They've had some really good drivers in their development program and failed miserably to capitalize on them and ended up losing them.
David Gilliland may not be the next Jeff Gordon, but he's far better than he is able to show with the team and equipment he's with. He has a very experienced team mate and he qualifies close to Ricky and there's only one driver between Ricky and David in the points standing, telling me he's getting the best out of what he's being given.
RYR is NOT on the comeback trail, they've shown nothing of improvement, just same ole, same ole.

I'd go to Toyota and Red Bull in a heartbeat! With Vickers, "Dinger" & Kyle in a couple years that will/would be the New Super Team in NASCAR.

Those that think Vickers is a nobody this year are truly disillusioning themselves, because he's actually the best of Toyota and for a total start up year that is pretty damn good.

Vickers leaving HMS was pretty stupid.

Could be, but only 1 or 2 more years will tell that for sure, it could turn him into the next NASCAR superstar too. That's JMHO.

Brian didn't leave, he was fired for wrecking too many cars. Even when he finaly won a race it was at the expense of his teammate & more bent sheetmetal.
