It happened again this weekend. Smoke was dominating, yet is forced to a poor (by his standards) finish in NH. Where is the dominant Tony Stewart that we are used to? Link goes to my thoughts.

I don't think Gibbs cares. As weird as it may sound, I wonder if something isn't afoot at JGR. What with Tony jerking them around, and toying with the possible idea of asking out of his contract a year early. There's been enough questionable calls in the pits (two tires when everyone else is gas only...and rain is coming? C'mon!) that maybe, as ludricous as it may seem, JGR is trying to hasten Tony's decision. Yeah, It wouldn't be smart of a car owner intentionally lose races, but who really knows?

Where is the aggressiveness in all the racers?? Seems like no one wants to get fined..so they race nice.. might as well use blinkers and hand signals... they do the same thing in the NFL.. penalizing them all the time when they should just let them play
Seems like NASCAR's been letting them "play" all year.Where is the aggressiveness in all the racers?? As hard as I can be on NASCAR, they've sat back lately and let 'em race. They didn't penalize Harvick or Montoya at Watkins Glen nor did they penalize Steven Wallace at Richmond, and this past weekend, they decided they're not going to suspend Juan Pablo Montoya after he turned Kyle Busch under caution.

Thats what Kyle does.
Bumping is racing, NASCAR should let it be then.Good.. what do you want them to do? everytime someone wrecks someone else gets a fine??? What kind of racing would that be? Bumpin is racing .. its all part of the game

I say let 'em race, and don't penalize someone next time they decides to retaliate against Wild "I'll weck as many cars as I need to" Thing.
Is it Larry Mac who always says "you create your own luck?"Again, dumb luck.
Yep, he didn't turn Hornaday around at Michigan, he didn't turn Junyer around at Richmond, he didn't turn Benson around at Martinsville.Do you have to show your ignorance at every turn? Bumping and rubbing is not turning someone around.

Yep, you're right, all those wrecks and the cautions that came out because of them were just figments of my imagination.
If JPM had wrecked any other driver like that, I would've been upset.See you can't even follow your own conversations. If he turned them then he may have been wrong. But what Kyle did to JPM is a part of racing and JPM turned him. Yet you want to give JPM kudos while still disparaging Kyle. I think you need to step back from the edge. You are about to lose all grip on your sanity...
If JPM had wrecked any other driver like that, I would've been upset.
But, because he turned Wild Thing, I say kudos. Only reason I really say that is because Wild Thing's kind of had it coming, and I know even some of you Kyle Busch fans can admit this much.
If it wasn't JPM, it would be Hornaday, who I'm sure is still still so thrilled about how much "talent" Ky had when he wrecked him.
And Kyle wrecking other drivers has NEVER put them at the same risk of injury. And that's where you and I differ. What if JPM had caused serious injury or even death to Kyle. I'm sure you would have been ecstatic. What Kyle did to JPM put no one in danger. The fact that you have it out for 1 driver is kind of sad. It just points to your relative immaturity. Maybe one day some girl (or guy, not that there is anything wrong with that) will come along and show you some affection and that will change your opinion on the world. Right now you are one pent up dude with a life time supply of Cornhuskers Lotion...
....Rubbed....just like Kyle did to JuanHE ADMITTED he would've been more than willing to wreck out Steven Wallace to make a point, and said he didn't care how much it would've hurt Steven. In fact, I remember Kyle saying he was gonna get Steven back. And Steven didn't spin him out, he just rubbed him. Like you said, that's racing.
Get over it already.
Why don't you admit it - it's ok for Wild Thing to intentionally wreck another driver, but it's not okay for anyone else to wreck him.
Actually it's your irrational hatred for someone you don't even know that says its OK for anyone to wreck Kyle but he shouldn't touch anyone else. No where have I said what Kyle did was right or wrong. You sir are making way too much out of this. Again, take a deep breath and trust me Kyle isn't the boogie man your momma told you was gonna git ya if you didn't be good.
Take off your short pants and put your long pants on and grow a pair. I think you'll find when you do that life is no where as gloomy as you paint it.
I fear that if you don't learn to reel in this emotional rollercoaster you are on the next time Kyle takes out someone, and he will take out someone either intentionally or not, then...

Tony could have and should have won 4 races by now (Daytona, Bristol, Charlotte, and Loudon). The move at Daytona was questionable. But a driver isn't going to intentionally throw away a chance at winning the Daytona 500. There was some questionable pit stragedy at Bristol. But it was the DRIVER that wanted new tires, which was the right move. Charlotte was just dumb luck and the same for Loudon. I keep reading these comments about them taking 2 tires when everyone else took gas. But that didn't matter because 9 cars didn't pit when they did. Again, dumb luck.
Is it Larry Mac who always says "you create your own luck?"
I wonder if anyone else remembers when the late Dale Earnhardt was asked when he was going to win again and he responded by saying that he was going to win the title, even if he had to second them to death! It's always been something for the press to speculate and ask of the public (and of course, when they can ask the driver) when is so and so going to win again. First it was Junior. They were asking Kahne somewhat, and now they are really concentrating on Tony. Why don't we ever hear them ask when Bobby Labonte is going to win again? How about Mark Martin? And why haven't we heard as much about Jeffy? Yeah, I know they've asked that of Jeff, but it seems the most concentration right now is on Tony.

Seems like Tony is getting a lil soft.. in his interviews as well.. some say hes growing up.. being more mature but is that really what it is?..or is he tired of getting hauled into the "trailer"? Dont get me wrong.. I love Tony.. hes one of my favs but he just doesnt seem the same.. might be the whole career thing in question but Id like to see the old Tony back!!

Oh yeah, now I've got it. Andy Monk, ofspring of Adrian Monk.OCD much, Andy?
They don't control it, but they knew it was coming. That said, they might've gotten in 10-15 laps of racing had the caution not come out the minute the green did.Yeah, Gibbs and Tony control the weather, too!

But, I think it was going to come down to Kurt and Michael. Too many cars stayed out for anyone who pitted to stand a chance.
