Where to get races streaming on line?

Anyone know of a good sight that streams the races live for free?

You can try First Row Sports. That's where I watch any mma fight I don't want to pay for.
They have NASCAR, as well.

The thing with online streaming on places like Justin.tv is that they are pirated streams and you can actually be prosecuted for watching an illegal online stream. Just something to keep in the back of your head.

The best option really is to buy cable or satellite. They are cracking down, bigtime, on internet piracy and it's not worth the risk. $30/month for a basic cable subscription and $20 for an old style CRT television is a small price to pay.

Not to mention, every NASCAR race on cable is streamed on NASCAR.com Race Buddy (and I wouldn't be surprised if they started simulcasting every race on NASCAR.com next year, even if there's a small fee).

I really hope they open up the mobile platform next year. I want to be able to track lap times.

I wonder if Sprint will let them.

Even if they do have a contract with Sprint, they really need to realize that a lot of people use iPhones and iPads nowadays.

I get every race that's on ESPN and ESPN2 on my iPhone -- surprised NASCAR and Turner haven't barked at ESPN about that yet and forced them to limit that to Sprint customers only.

The Sprint deal is the key.

Sprint could have exclusive rights to everything and I still wouldn't use their phone service. The worst cell provider I've ever had, and I currently have a provider that, if you're outside New York, Boston, Chicago or DC, you're lucky to have service.

While I wish that I had access to Sprint's mobile NASCAR apps I would not subscribe to their services. I get great reception through Verizon and they are the only 4G lte in the area. My Sprint subscribing friends complain about their coverage and speeds.

I'm on AT&T now. I have my gripes but AT&T is nowhere near as god awful craptastic as Sprint was.

The service is pretty good where I'm at. I'll say in traveling it could be better. I was with AT&T for years (When it was Bellsouth) and they wouldn't extend my unlimited data package so I told them where they could put my service.

This is nothing to be concerned with. They are cracking down on the people providing the streams, not watching them.

Sprint may have the naming rights but they don't control the digital media rights. That was Turner and it's now going to be NASCAR. There will be many things occurring starting next year on the digital side of NASCAR.

A cell phone provider is only as good as its service. For me there are only two choices as they're the only ones that work in my area. AT&T and Verizon. Verizon is my choice. I bend over once a month for them and in return I get an uninterrupted signal. ;)

Wanna bet?

Yes, there's nothing they can do about it. They would have to establish that an ip address represents a person and that won't happen. They are going after the people who provide streams, those are the ones they want.

I don't watch streams but nothing is going to happen to you if you watch them. Don't be that paranoid.
