COT. It's built for the safety of the drivers.

NASCAR's got to make sure they'll be back next week to race. Besides, a lot of the COT concepts are starting to be applied to the actual showroom floor cars.

The COT has a lot of advantages and with this season being the first season it will be used exclusively i think you will see it evolve into a good car. It isn't bad looking, so i don't really mind it, those days of the Buick Regals, Montes, T-Birds, and Olds are gone forever. That was an era i'll never forget , Nascar went mainstream with ESPN, changing the way we thought about stock car racing forever.

mopard, most of us, if not all, know that those days are gone. However, the Poll is asking "Which Would You Prefer.:)

When it comes to safety in racing, NASCAR is the best in the world.

The safety of the drivers is key. I voted for COT. I think the racing on the cookie cutter tracks will be better and safer.

If NASCAR says this is the safest thing that can be developed, I believe them. NASCAR R&D is the best at what it does, and I'm not going to second guess them.

I like the stocker look better. Many CoT concepts could still be implemented into a stock looking car.

Cup racing with those new taxi cabs they call CoT will never be the same as with the "old cars."

reck, it's called road racing. I'm leaning more towards that than cup. Cup is getting too much of an F1-IROC mixture.

As long as driver's get more than one win, manufacturers will complain until NASCAR changes the system. Right now, manufacturers aren't whining and crying because a Ford won a race.

NASCAR's gotten rid of the politics, for now anyways.

my view in this issue has been strongly said before. Though I know the COT is a safer car, it's the ugliest racecar I've ever seen in my life...

I don't see why many people think this car is ugly, really it is cool looking in my opinion, then again i thought the pacer was cool back in the 70s when it first came out,,,,so what do i know....lol:)

You know what would be really cool? If they actually raced the show room models completely stock.

I don't know why they call it stock car racing anymore. I guess it is in a way seeing that it's a NASCAR designed car. And I guess it's the stock model that they offer. What do I know? I'm just rambling stupidity.

I like the COT

It appears they can run any of these cars anywhere. That's great for racing.
