Basically a simple question  , which of these drivers should move on to Nextel Cup next year. Now, this is based on speculation, I dont know if some of these drivers have even any intention of making the jump next year. This is a good race we're seeing between the old and the new breed in the Busch Grand National Series. Right now, I think Scott Riggs and Brian Vickers are in the cat burner's seats because they've both been having stellar seasons and they're in or are being offered rides by some high-profile teams. B)

Well, same as all my other polls. If you feel I left a driver out, dont be afraid to post that driver here. :(

I figure Scott Riggs in a cup car next year. Brian Vickers is right up there also, but I think he needs another year in the Busch car. He and Kyle Busch as teammates next year! WOOHOO!

Deffinately Scott Riggs. I just hope he'll be driving the #1 (insert sponsor here) chevrolet for DEI.

I went with Scott as well. He woudl be a good driver for any team but I would like to see him in a PE car, Bobby Jr would be good too!

If Brian Vickers has a stellar season this year, I think he better go on to Nextel Cup, if Hendrick is looking for another great driver look no further than Vickers. Riggs is a pretty great driver and I think it's about time for him to be in Winston Cup, he's been in Busch for a while now. As for Scott Wimmer, I thought Scott Wimmer would have a breakout year this year, I thought he would dominate the series, but his seasons kinda slowed down ever since Bootie Barker left. We'll see what happens, but the way it looks, Wimmer probably wont get a stellar ride for next year in Nextel Cup.

With the way David Stremmes performing he should take over the #41 in 2003. Ganassi should put him the #1 for the rest of the year to get him more expierence and run him in Cup and Busch next year.

I didnt know who or what David Stremme was before 2003. I'm surprised his performance is up to par. However, I think Casey Mears should suffice in the 41 for now and Ganassi should wait about another year to add another ride such as the #09.

Scott Wimmer or Jason Keller...but I said Scott Wimmer.

Riggs would be a good choice, he'd look pretty good in the #1 and he fits in DEI because he's the basic age group of the company, well if you rule out Mikey.

David was ASA rookie of the year last year with two wins.

He had a great run today at Milwaukee, but I think he should run full time in the Busch series before he goes WC racing.

I picked Riggs, mostly because of the rumors of him heading to WC (Nextel). I think BDR is planning to move Swimmer to WC (Nextel) next season...or at least that was the plan as of last season.

I went with Johnny sauter. He has got to be learning a lot sharing a ride with Harvick and running full time schedule in 2 different cars. A full season of him alone in the payday car would not hurt.

I voted for Scott, but in reality, I don't see anyone really outstanding. Good, yes, but not Cup quality. Maybe in the 2nd half someone will separate themselves from the pack.
