Which Cup driver will be the biggest surprise in 2014 in terms of having a much different year than most people expect, either positively or negatively? For example, in my opinion Brad Keslowski had a much worse season last year than most people probably expected and because of that, I would say he was biggest Cup driver surprise in 2013.

My own guess for the biggest surprise in 2014 will be in terms of a driver having a much better year than most would expect and that driver is Denny Hamlin. If not him, my next guess would be Austin Dillon. I don’t believe that any Cup driver will have as big a fall-off in performance during 2014 as Brad K. had in 2013.

I think Danica's pregnancy will have an effect on sprint car safety..and THAT would be a surprise.

Friends, I could tell you but I dont want to spoil the suspense for all of the good people here.

After the season is over I will explain how I saw it all coming, and not only how many they would win but where they would win, all of it in advance.

Time machine?.. Did you come back to make millions in Vegas like Biff?

That's right, just dont ask me to explain Joeys future and his final legacy.

The future truth is a powerful thing I dare not violate the future, present, and even the past cosmos™.

(Except for occasional chezzie pick lines.:)

With all of this revamping crap they will all be surprising, especially if they make it through to the end game.

I know I know you don't want to give me more ammo for these guys ;) I get it :D

Casey Mears and AJ Allmendinger will show significant improvements, along with the whole RCR stable. I think the Roush guys continue to fall behind. Penske will be the dominant Ford team.

Brian Vickers Will make the Chase.

Clock ticks until Penske goes it alone in the engine department.

I think Roush will have a big year, and Kenseth will suffer the runner up jinx.

Lots of possibilities.
Kyle Larson
Kurt Busch has (another) great opportunity
Allmendinger
