If any of you admins out there checked my 'last visit' you'll see it was 10-5...

Well that was 3 days before the birth of my son! :D
10-8, 8 lbs, 22 inches...

I'm a daddy!

So just wanted to let everyone know I wasn't 'neglecting' the board...I litterally have just been too busy!

Just for everyone's info, we adopted our son through an 'open adoption'. This means we actually know the birth-mom and will keep contact with her throughtout our son's life. Sounds scary at first (believe me) but ultimately it is what's best for him! (Who doesn't want to know people love them)

Any who....I'm not promising I'll be around a lot...but I will check in a little more often now that he's sleeping a little better! :cool:

BTW, this adoption thing has been a life altering experience for me, so if anyone has questions etc feel free to ask (either here or pm)

Add another Jimmie Johnson fan to the scoreboard!

Congratulations to the new addition to the family! It's a life altering experience! Just post when you can! We'd love to see pics if you are comfortable posting them! :)

I;m thinking it's best to 're-define' normal! :)

But there's no way I would go back...

Congrats Splunge, enjoy him while he is little, they get old quick. Your raising him in a great place, I grew up in Colorado Springs.

Congrats Splunge............ We adopted 2 girls through open adoption. Fear not it's a good thing. It does get a little confusing at time with all the the gramma's and granpa's tho.
