Broke down and bought a UPS for my computer today.

Set-up seemed rather simple. Huge azz heavy thing, but it says I'm pulling 250 watts of power, with 18 minutes of backup. That's with the tower and all 3 monitors running. I like the power controlled outlets, but it would be nice if there was an outlet that was both power-save and battery-backup, ie for monitors. It has a 3 year warranty, and I also spent the $40 on the Staples warranty, which extends after the mfgr one to 4 years. Normally I wouldn't, but I know i'll be needing a new battery for it in 3-4 years, so I'll see if I can get them to cover it under warranty .
