I used to think it was Florida...............but since living in southern California, i have changed my mind...they are the worst drivers around.........pull out in front of you.........don't signal.......speed up when you turn your turn signal on etc........:(

hey Buckaroo...heard you guys had a ice storm there in NC........hope you stayed home and out of it..I never drove on ice, but De said it is not a nice thing........:(

California drivers are bad (including me) but I think Georgia drivers are worse.

Anyone ever driven in Texas? Those drivers are just plain scary!!:)

Kansas City as cities go, but for a state, I would vote for Ark. As for the worst roads, We win.

Nope, had to work and started at 6:00 this morning. Roads here not all that bad, but when you have those drivers who are terrified of the conditions and drive but 5 mph, they are as bad or worse than those who keep their foot in the carburator.

Never been out west. But if they get worst than Memphis drivers I feel for you

Northern VA without a doubt. As soon as it rains or snows, they insert head about neck deep in a certain other body part.

I think that wherever you go, when the weather is bad the drivers drive faster.

I drove thur texas in 1980............took me 2 days to just get out of the state...............

I've lived in SC, IN, LA, IA, TX, & PA. Tough call on who is the worst but I've got to say that TX was the best. I have a lead foot and I didn't have too many people hindering me. TRL, I've been driving in Atlanta on my way to six flags since I was 17 yrs old.... unreal. 10 to 12 lane hwy and if you're going less than 75 you get passed like you're sitting still.

A friend of mine once told me that people drive like they walk. When you think about it, it makes perfect sense. In malls, at fairs, festivals, anywhere there's a crowd of people.... some are barreling through trying to get to where they want to go, some are dragging their feet, others are lolly gagging around and bumping into you because they aren't looking where they're going....

:D

That makes sense, Penskegirl. There are those slow people in the fast lane in both the mall and driving. The careless walkers, the maniacs, and the ones who walk/drive alright but end up surronded by the bad people. lol.

Bad drivers are everywhere. I have lived numerous places and while I haven' t driven everywhere, I would have to say either Texas or California has the worst drivers. And when it snows or rains or anything people just turn into morons. Alaska was the only place where that didn't happen so much. Yet there were those people who just couldn't drive or drove to quote my dad "like they got their licenses out of a CrackerJack box."

Well, I have to agree with TRL. Here in Texas there are only two speeds to drive. Fast and Faster. Fortunately, I don't have to commute very far for work. I only drive 6 miles and none of that is highway. But, when I do venture into the metroplex, you can be doing 70-75 on the freeway, and you are still getting passed like you were sitting still. In Texas, the state law is that the left lane is for "passing" and not "cruising". Most people stay in the left lane because they are travelling faster than the rest of the traffic, therefore "passing" all of the time. lol

mis-fit, regarding your comment about the crackerjack box, we have always said that "they must have gotten their license from the K-Mart blue light special".

Philadelphia was the worst I've even seen. They actually have signs next to the traffic lights that say "You must wait for light to turn green before proceeding". Why would you need to tell somebody that? They double and triple park. You might have to wait a couple of hours to get your car if you were foolish enough to park against the curb (like you are supposed to).

Wrong, forum folk. Wisconsin has the worst drivers. No use of signals, driving the wrong way on a divided highway or one way street, park where ever you want. Speed through red lights, pass school buses that are stopped with lights flashing and stop sign extended. Don't use your signals here, just use your horn or your finger. They get worse when it snows. It's always entertaining driving here.:(

I have to say ATI has the worst drivers in the industry. Most of their update drivers seem to cause more problems than ones from several updates back.

The drivers on the Papy- Sierra hosted tracks pretty much suck too.

Agreed 100%. Not that Minnesota is perfect or anything, but I certainly can tell when I cross the border (besides the Mississippi river:p )

Has anyone every drove in New Jersey. More and more people keep moving here every year and it seem s that these new people do not know how to drive. Plus in New Jersey we have U-Turns.
