Who is Lauren Wallace?

In one of the racing threads, mention was made of Lauren/Warren Wallace in the Geico commercials. Many people thought that his name was Warren, but in fact, his name is Lauren and it's spelled like that. Here's where it gets interesting. First off, many people are wondering what this kid's real name is but Geico is keeping mum on that. I've been googling Lauren/Warren Wallace and have found some interesting facts which bring with it, some questions that might arise. One, why is Geico keeping this kid's name a secret? One would think that it really wouldn't matter unless there is a plan for the actor later on. Secondly, why is the kid's name in the add spelled Lauren? While there are some men named Lauren spelled that way, far and away, there are ten times more women named Lauren. Most men spell their name Loren. So here's an interesting theory. This kid is actually a girl actress and that will be revealed later in some commercial.

So how is that for a surprise? :)
 
You might be onto sumpin there. If you pulled Erin Crocker's hair back (like many have) and got rid of her glasses, IT'S LAUREN WALLACE. They both drive the same way. Also, the name Erin isn't far from Lauren and I could see myself after a few drinks telling her to get the "L" out, which leaves Auren, a close spelling which could be pronounced the same as Erin. Now that we cracked this mystery, let's solve the O.J. memorabilia thing. Although I'm more interested in Pam Anderons mammarablilia. (get it, mammarabilia, as in mammaries? you'll be using that one at work)
 
I just read on another board that Mike or Kenny let it slip the kid isn't related to them at all. He's an actor. Hmmmmmmm.... maybe that's why Geico isn't saying anything, ya think? His name isn't Lauren or Warren most likely! :eek: :rolleyes:
 
Well of course he's an actor, but the main gist of this thread is the question of why is Geico being so quiet about not only who he/she is, but what might be in the future.

This is only a fun thread, not to be confused with something sinister or anything like that. It isn't meant to be serious, or confusing. If this, like so many other things seems rediculous to you, just move on to another thread. I just found it funny that when I did a little searching for the answer to whether the kid's name was Warren or Lauren, many ideas were found.

It takes all kinds of people to make the world go around. :)
