Come live in Ga with me and hubby till you connect in NC. I guarantee, as Paul Prudhomme says, you will get a great job with your credentials and have a freaky time with us old hippies. And you can cook, well so can I do gourmet, just don't bother anymore.
I posted this thread for YOU. PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Thanks, Kat! What a nice offer. Good thing I'm not a wacko, else I'd be doing donuts in your garden, clearing out your refrigerator of all alcoholic beverages, and generally embarrassing you in front of your neighbors.
Well, I may be crazy, but I'm not rude.
I'm still in the process of deciding whether or not I can do this and, if so, when. It probably won't be anytime real soon. I was figuring on posting a separate thread, when the time was right, begging everyone here for information. You beat me to it!
Until then, I guess I'll just continue to whine about NYC and how I can't go to any races. Hearing about all that I'm missing is just making the fire burn hotter. :kaioken:
ooohh abolisa, you would fit right in here at my house.... beer+ store and sports bar 1/4 mile away, call to order food, townhome so no REAL yard but Krispy Kreme right near if you want doughnuts(hehehe)
I am the race nut, 59 yrs old as is my hubby, just older hippies.
You are more than welcome to visit or call, just send me a pm with your eaddie etc. This would be like having another daughter
Well he hasn't made an honest woman out of me yet. But yes I am 110% woman (hear me roar) lol. You all are invited to the wedding next year. We have planned it for a Saturday Oct. 25, 2003 to be exact. Can't miss the race on Sunday. We plan to be in our Chalet watching the race chillin with a Coors light.
Krispy Kreme...Mmm, mmm, mmm!!! Sooooo much better than stinkin Dunkin Donuts. I went to one of those standalone ones you've got down there, and was mesmerized watching the donuts being made behind glass doors. Reminded me of a story I loved as a child, where a donut machine went mad and started cranking out way too many donuts to where everyone in the store was covered in them up to their ears. Had some funny dreams about giant food after that one.
Krispy Kreme might be reason enough to move to NC. The one we've got on 23rd Street in Manhattan just doesn't cut it.
Anyhow, I'll definitely PM you with my email address. Like I said, I'm not moving anywhere anytime soon, I don't think, but it'd be nice to know someone like you all the same. My own mother thinks I'm nuts with this racing stuff. The only sport she has any use for is figure skating. Curses the television on weekends when my father is engrossed in either a football game or a baseball game, depending on the season. It'll be cool. :satisfied
