I say Jamie Ryan Blaney will do well in the #21 wood brothers car!!

I can see what ur saying Bout the #14 and that would be a good headline

In spite of some strange wins in the past , I'd still go with the usual gang , Harvick , Jimmie Johnson , Jeff Gordon , Newman , Hamlin, you know ...

I think Jeb Burton would be an awesome story!

I just want the duels to be competitive and a real race to get in like we all remembered!! The front row Motorsports guys will be fast and could pull off David and David again! Michael waltrip no matter what is always a contender!! Mike Wallace is one of the best super speedway guys! Trevor bayne could take Roush to victory lane! Sam Hornish would be only the 3rd person to win Indy 500 and Daytona 500 and in doing that take the King back to victory Lane! Smoke or Jeff Gordon wouldn't be Cinderella's but emotion wins for sure!!

Personally I would like to see Jamie Mac take Hickory crew chief and Hickory motor speedways own Matt McCall to victory lane

Its funny how over the years the cars change, tires change, groundforce changes and yet Ol Mikey still does well with really no other racing in the car for the year. Tells ya something about a plate track I think
There is something about plate racing that some drivers just see and feel! Milkey is great so is mike Wallace anytime either one of them is at a plate track they are a threat! Jamie Mac is also great! Some drivers see the air and know what it is doing better than others! Another person that is good at plate tracks is Robert Yates he has always brought a lot of horse power to those tracks and I don't expect anything different! Front Row Joe has also had some success at driving at plate tracks

Guess I gotta think Junior will make a race of it. If he and Michael hook up on the last restart, it could be a great finish. Would be nice to see a first time winner though.

what I saw in the shootout race was it looks to me much like last years race. Its going to be hard for drivers to pass late in the race. track position is going to be a big deal. The outside lane is where you probably want to be. Its hard for cars to get assembled on the bottom because with the bumping and with some drivers cars handling better than others. it makes it hard for all the cars to stick together. it not just how your car handles, its how the guy behind you handles, and the guy behind them. That is why the top normally does better. I think the winner is going to be a car from a big team. I don't see a front row car winning it. or little guy team winning it with the package they are running this year.

The gibbs cars look really tuff, but I said the same thing last year I think. I was shocked how matt kenseth actually drove away from the draft up front to win the race. usually getting out front it to far means your in trouble. but if you can gap the car behind you enough at the right time, its a move than can't be beaten.
